The Steinbergs are going away for a wedding and have turned the family deli over to Bernie. One of Bernie's friends has a lucrative commercial deal and he agrees to take over his cab route for the evening. Bridget eagerly offers to run the deli to help and Bernie gives her a crash course in Jewish foods. Bridget's mother Amy pops in and helps out by waiting tables. The rest of Bridget's family show up and end up helping as well. An inspector from city hall (Lou Cutell) shows up and reclassifies the deli from an A rating to a C. Now they try to return things as it were for the Steinbergs.
A plot with promise, but like previous offerings, in my opinion, it floundered.
