- Titus follows Frid to find where he is hiding the drum. As Tama works to develop a neutralising agent for the poison, Jade delivers an unexpected present which allows Jo to go back to 1919 and rescue Nicholas.
- After copying the formulae of the two agents, Tama begins work on making them. Jade again surprises Jo, who gives her the key to Nicholas' room which allows her to once again rescue him. Louisa, Jo and Nicholas swap the drum of cooking oil for the toxic waste. Campbell chases them and threatens to open the drum with the poison. Meanwhile the Russians have come to collect Nicholas and take him back. Sir Ivor makes excuses and asks them to be patient and to come and enjoy the ball.—GusF

As Tama works to develop a neutralising agent for the poison, Jade delivers an unexpected present which allows Jo to go back to 1919 and rescue Nicholas. Andrew tries to stop Jo from returning and tries to take her place but he is still unable to use the mirror. Catherine once again tries to pack up Jo's mirror but Royce makes sure she doesn't and his demonstration finally convinces Christine that Jo has been traveling in time. Jade continues to get instructions from the Old Man, he assure her if she follows his orders, she will never see Jo again. Jo and Louisa free Nicholas from his room and together they swap the drum of cooking oil for the drum of toxic waste Frid has hidden. They are caught and chased by Campbell who threatens to break open the toxic drum, but Bullseye saves the day. Sir Ivor, busy preparing for an elaborate ball, is unhappy about Nicholas' escape - especially with two Russian envoys arriving to take Nicholas away. Jo is shocked to learn where Nicholas has hidden the drum.
