So here is the third episode of Tanner '88, and believe it or not, I think I first saw Tanner '88 back in 2004 or so (on VHS no less!), and it was a pleasure to watch after having heard so much about it, especially being written by Garry Trudeau and directed by Robert "The Player" Altman.
Being a huge fan of Trudeau's Doonesbury, I was very interested in and fascinated by Tanner '88, being somewhat interested in presidential politics. Anyway, Michael Murphy, famous for being in Manhattan about a decade earlier, plays Jack Tanner, and his daughter is played by Cynthia Nixon before she became famous big time. Here Tanner seeks extra votes, and Waylon Jennings, famous for singing the Dukes of Hazzard theme, guest stars init.
