Did you know
- TriviaCarter brags that he scored a 111 on his IQ test, to the bemused grins of the geniuses surrounding him in Eureka. According to the standard IQ scale developed by eugenicist Lewis Terman in 1916, Carter's score would put him on the low end of "Superior Intelligence" (110-119). While that's still likely a low score by Eureka standards, it means that Carter is still above average intelligence, if only just.
- GoofsToward the very end Sheriff Carter says he looked up his IQ of 111 and found out that it was average, completely average. Actually on the IQ scale 90-109 is average and 110-119 is considered superior intelligence therefore at 111 Sheriff Carter would be considered to have superior, not average, intelligence. (Zoe's IQ at 157 would place her at the level of Genius where less than 1/4 of 1 percent of the population falls.)

Chaos and Humor
A welcomed episode which stays heavy on the humor side. Taggart and Jo each get plenty of screen time, and good jokes, with a backdrop of the high school science fair full of brilliant adolescents (some with "Heathers" issues). We get to learn more about how Zoe does (and does not) fit in with her brillliant fellow students and about the stresses the adult geniuses in Eureka face every day. There is surprising depth mixed in without melodrama. Well crafted an enjoyable episode.
