When the universe offers a sign — and the sign comes straight from the lips of Nicolas Cage — you can’t ignore it.
That, in essence, is how 31-year-old guitarist Ben Katzman found himself on Survivor. The paperwork sat on his desk, but Katzman was racked with doubt. He’d already lost everything once: his band, his record label, his DIY community. Going on reality television seemed like a potential career suicide. Which is where Cage comes in.

The short, tragic life of Amy Winehouse has been chronicled in a documentary (Asif Kapadia’s Amy), numerous unofficial biographies, memoirs by her father (Amy, My Daughter), her mother (Loving Amy: A Mother’s Story), close friend Tyler James (My Amy: The Life We Shared), podcasts, and even graphic novels. And in the wake of shockingly successful biopics about Queen, Elton John, Mötley Crüe, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, and Bob Marley, the only surprising thing about Sam Taylor-Johnson’s Back to Black, which stars Marisa Abela as Winehouse, is that...

Gold Rush: White Water Season 8 premiered in March and Discovery Channel fans watched the team work in dangerous conditions, but do they get paid? If they find gold, that’s great, but do they draw salaries or earnings per episode if they don’t hit the jackpot? Read on to find out.
Gold Rush White Water Crew Changed
Over the years, the core team changed a bit. For example, in 2023, Discovery Channel fans found out that Kayla Johanson left. For her, there was just way too much drama and not enough gold. So, she quit and went to make her way on YouTube and with jewelry creation. Does that mean that filming hurt her pocket? Of course, that makes viewers wonder about the rest of the crew getting paid.

The Game of Thrones is undoubtedly one of the most successful television shows in history, which spawned a whole franchise that continues to remain popular among audiences worldwide. Its incredible success is all thanks to its intriguing plotline, stunning visuals, and cinematography.
But its cast performances were one of the major reasons why it garnered worldwide acclaim as we witnessed complex characters that kept us invested in its storyline.
The Night King from Game of Thrones
However, the show also introduced some of the most disturbing characters ever seen on TV. When we talk about the most sinister character, one would point fingers at The Night King. But there’s another despicable character whose acts would sicken your stomach and it’s none other than Ramsay Bolton.

It is with great joy and relief that we announce that Ozzy Osbourne is still alive. He’s pretty happy about it, too, but not terribly surprised by his own account. It was more of a shock for the heavy metal icon when one video popped up claiming that he did in fact die.
Although he’s certainly a mainstay in those awful annual celebrity death pools – now 75, Ozzy was recently diagnosed with Parksinon’s and led a hard road of drug and alcohol abuse – the Prince of Darkness says he’s staying put. As he addressed on his family podcast, “I put it on and I died! The thing on YouTube, which goes, ‘Celebrities Who Have Died Today,’ and there’s a picture of me.” For those who didn’t pick up on the nuances, Ozzy reiterated, “I’m not dead…I’m not going any-f*cking-where and I...

The recently revived Osbournes Podcast is proving to reveal a wealth of inside information on the family, some of which fans may never want to know. In the latest episode, Ozzy Osbourne disclosed that he used to willingly piss his pants onstage, arguing that he was “wet anyway.”
The weekly podcast features Ozzy sitting around a table with his wife Sharon and children Jack and Kelly. This particular conversation started earlier in the episode when the family was discussing a pair of Queen Victoria’s underwear that were once sold at auction.
Later on, Sharon mentioned that she once owned Marilyn Monroe’s shoes, to which Jack responded, “Hang on a second, so it’s weird to have the Queen’s underwear, but you can have Marilyn Monroe’s shoes?” To which Sharon retorted, “Shoes, a handbag, a dress is different than somebody’s bloody knickers that they farted in and shit in.

Adapting the biography of a singular figure is hard enough, but how do you adapt the autobiography of a band? Bassist Nikki Sixx, guitarist Mick Mars, drummer Tommy Lee, and Vince Neil joined forces to make Mötley Crüe, one of the most successful bands of the 1980s and well-documented hedonist troublemakers.
In 2001, all four members of the band along with Neil Strauss released an autobiography called "The Dirt," describing the group as "the world's most notorious rock band." The book shot to the top 10 on the New York Times Best Seller list and stayed there for 10 weeks. On a personal note, I used the book as the subject of my own freshman year biography project book report in 2004, when I showed up to school dressed like Nikki Sixx and delivered my presentation in full character ... much to my teacher's chagrin.

In early May, we travelled to Nashville to spend a couple of days with Mick Mars and hear about his bitter departure from Mötley Crüe. Mars stepped away from the touring unit in late 2022 after 41 years in the group he co-founded. He’d been suffering from the debilitating bone disease ankylosing spondylitis for decades, and life on the road simply became too painful to endure. In his telling, they used this as an excuse to violate legal agreements and deny him his share of band proceeds. The matter is currently...

Who doesn’t want a look at the inner workings of Pete Davidson’s mind?
Peacock released the trailer for “Bupkis,” its new series starring Davidson and which is based on his life.
In its half-hour episodes, “Bupkis” shows Davidson’s life in a heightened, fictionalized manner. Combining grounded storytelling with unfiltered and absurd elements, the eight-episode show will depict Davidson’s unique worldview.
The trailer opens with quick clips of tabloid headlines about Davidson and with him saying, “I googled myself yesterday. People think I’m, like, a joke for some reason.”

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's love story is being revisited once again thanks to Anderson's new Netflix documentary, "Pamela, a Love Story." The documentary presents Anderson's view of her and Lee's relationship, including the births of their children, Dylan Jagger Lee and Brandon Thomas Lee; and the theft and leakage of their sex tape. Anderson and Lee had a whirlwind romance: the couple wed in February 1995 just four days after they met, and Anderson filed for divorce three years later. So, what went wrong?
In February 1998, Lee was arrested for spousal abuse, child abuse, and unlawful possession of a firearm according to EW. According to police reports, the Mötley Crüe drummer assaulted Anderson while she was holding their 2-month-old son, Dylan, in their Malibu home. Lee was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading no contest to felony spousal battery. Anderson filed for divorce that same February, requesting custody of Dylan and Brandon.

Well Go USA Entertainment will unleash chilling the creature feature in select theaters on March 10, followed by a PVOD release on March 14, 2023.
The film, described as Gremlins meets Straw Dogs, spins a tale of what happens to people who come in contact with the violent, bloodthirsty goblins known originally in Irish folklore as the fear dearg or “far darrig,” now often referred to worldwide as the “Redcaps.”

In the parking lot of a Panera, just off I-95 in Stafford, Virginia, Rick Dunsford climbed into the passenger seat of a white Ford F-350 pick-up. Depending whose account you believe, he was holding either 12,000 or 15,000 in cash. It was late afternoon on a Friday in July 2019. Dunsford had been driving through the night, making stops along the way — in Charlotte, North Carolina, to pick up an associate, Madeline Rose; at his sister’s house in Virginia, to collect some of the money; and at a couple of different Wells-Fargo...

His new girlfriend, Madonna (Evan Rachel Wood), is by his side when they’re confronted backstage by his manager, Dr. Demento (Rainn Wilson). “I think Madonna is a bad influence on you,” Demento says. “I think she’s an evil, conniving succubus and she’s only using you for her pathetic and selfish needs, no offense. “Mick Mars, co-founder and lead guitarist of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe for the past 41 years, has announced today that due to his ongoing painful struggle with Ankylosing Spondylitis (A.S.), he will no longer be able to tour with the band,” read the statement, provided by the rep. “Mick will continue as a member of the band, but can no longer handle the rigors of the road. A.S. is an extremely painful and crippling degenerative disease, which affects the spine.”

It's a tale as old as time: heavy-metal drummer follows viral social media sensation, arranges to meet her in real life, and falls in love. Ok, maybe not, but that's the modern love story of 59-year-old Mötley Crüe cofounder Tommy Lee and 35-year-old former Vine star Brittany Furlan, who tied the knot on Valentine's Day in 2019, exactly one year after they got engaged.
This is the drummer's fourth marriage, but it's the first for Furlan, as well as her first fulfilling relationship. As she said in the 2018 Netflix documentary "The American Meme," "I met someone who I can trust because I didn't trust anybody that I've dated before. I'd say Tommy is my first true love and I am finally safe and happy." Despite their unconventional start, you have to admit that's pretty sweet.

Mötley Crüe’s long-delayed reunion tour finally kicked off Thursday night at Atlanta, Georgia’s Truist Park. And while drummer Tommy Lee was only able to play on a handful of songs due to a major rib injury, they did have Machine Gun Kelly in the house to join them on the live premiere of “The Dirt (Est. 1981).”
“The Dirt (Est. 1981)” was recorded by the Crüe for the soundtrack to their 2019 Netflix movie The Dirt, which starred Machine Gun Kelly as Tommy Lee. It was, by far, the newest song they played during the show.

Peacock has given a straight-to-series order to a semi-autobiographical comedy series starring Pete Davidson, Variety has learned.
The series, title “Bupkis,” was first reported as being on the market back in March, with Peacock acquiring it in a competitive situation. Davidson serves as a writer and executive producer on the show in addition to starring. The half-hour comedy is described as a heightened, fictionalized version of Davidson’s real life. Per Peacock, it will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the worldview for which Davidson is well known.
Dave Sirus and Judah Miller will write and executive produce the show along with Davidson. Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Erin David of Broadway Video will also executive produce. Universal Television is the studio.
“Pete Davidson is one of the most sought-after comedians today with his smart, one-of-a-kind humor and honest point of view,” said Susan Rovner, chairman of entertainment content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming.

Dolly Parton is a great American, but she’s big in Australia, too, and she means the world to the heroine of “Seriously Red,” a deceptively modest vehicle for Krew Boylan, who plays the lead here and also wrote the script.
What starts out as a crowd-pleaser about an awkward woman who becomes a Dolly impersonator gradually reveals itself as a fairly serious examination of how confidence can be gained through such impersonation, but only up to a point.
Boylan and her director Gracie Otto (the 2021 documentary “Under the Volcano”) truly love Parton, and “Seriously Red” is studded with Dolly quotes, both in dialogue form and in on-screen title cards. “Storms make trees take deeper roots,” quotes Boylan’s Red, a good-hearted but rather lost woman who is living in her mother’s garage and floundering at her current job in finance. Jobs never seem to last long for Red,...

The eight-part Hulu series Pam & Tommy came to an end this week with a final episode that, much like the others, took place in a slightly different universe than our own. In this one, Mötley Crüe’s Generation Swine came out in June 1996 instead of June 1997, they promoted it with a show in the Tower Records parking lot featuring a song nowhere to be found in the band’s actual catalog, and they were bumped from a live MTV event to make room for Beck.

That Colson Baker can act is no revelation. The rap-rocker, better known to his legions of fans as Machine Gun Kelly, has already held his own in a dozen or so roles for film and TV, demonstrating a scuzzy on-screen charisma within admittedly limited boundaries. His canny casting as Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in the Netflix biopic “The Dirt” paid off, so it’s not surprising to see him return to the rockstar-as-rockstar well in the significantly artsier “Taurus.” This time, however, he makes a rather more personal investment — not just starring, but serving as executive producer, composer and script consultant — in a project modeled on, if not his own life, certainly his own celebrity aura and sound.
The good news is that he can still act, serving director Tim Sutton’s unpleasant but smokily atmospheric descent into Hollywood Hades with solemn commitment and a lurching air of physical...
