"The Mork Report" was the one and only episode to be directed by Robin Williams, saved for the final broadcast though scheduled to air prior to the delirious 3-parter "Gotta Run." The entire story serves as Mork's last report to Orson, who isn't too interested in listening to an Orkan describing marriage on earth, though Mork's promotion rides on the result. Mindy confides that she prefers to be honest with her husband about his choice of her wardrobe. Another sequence features both Fred and Cora, ready to go out to dinner until Mork and Mearth celebrate their Orkan heritage in flowery costumes. A silent black and white interlude sees Mork and Mindy dancing their cares away as dinner burns on the stove. Had all the fourth season episodes been like this there might have been a fifth, but no one lamented the loss on the ABC schedule.
