"Mama Mork, Papa Mindy" opens with Fred learning that he's now a grandfather, with his daughter only married a month. Even more surprising is the sheer size of their newborn son (Jonathan Winters), over 6 feet. His name Mearth combining Mork, Mindy, and Earth, he's both walking and talking before long, though crowding his father Mindy out of the bedroom. Worst of all he's able to refer to Mork as 'Mommy,' while calling Mindy 'Shoe.' Taking refuge at the TV station on the night shift, Mindy receives a surprise visit from Mork and Mearth, and helps her son learn how to play catch. Mork reports to Orson at the conclusion, none too thrilled to be Mearth's godfather, although he does send a check. Another mention of Mindy's boss Mr. Sternhagen, though Foster Brooks does not appear.
