Fabian Swanson writes a note in a notebook of ruled paper, but the closeup after handing it to Jim shows plain paper.
When Ned Brown first enters the Nolan mausoleum, there is a flame in the central bowl, and the wall candles are lighted. With all the cobwebs and dust (indicating there have been no visitors there for quite some time), they should not have been burning. No one could have entered and lighted them before Ned Brown, as the doors were locked, and only he had the key.
The document found in the mausoleum dictates that Sylvia is the owner of all Nolan properties in and about Calliope, Missouri. It further states that it is on file with the Territorial Governor's Office. BUT Slyvia is obviously under 30 while Missouri has been a state for about 50 years (the setting of the series the Grant Administration: 1869-1877, and Missouri became a state in 1821). These facts stand in contrast to each other.
At various points in the program the wind can be heard howling. Yet bushes and trees in those scenes are always still, NEVER bending to that wind.
When Jim is jumped outside of the mortuary he hits one of his assailants in the stomach. BUT that man was already doubling over before Jim actually "hit" him.
During the fight in the Nolan crypt, one of the "stone" pedestals is overturned. A subsequent shot reveals its construction out of 3/4" plywood and textured paint.
Slyvia flees Melanie's house and Melanie follows. At one point Slyvia hides among some knee high rocks and Melanie wonders among them. At one point Melanie stands still facing towards the viewers left, then turns and walks off the screen on the right. After Melanie's departure, Sylvia emerges from behinds the rocks where Melanie had just been standing and looking. Though Sylvia was supposed to have been blind, so must have Melanie as well as she had just been in front of and over Slyvia and yet failed to see her.
Ned comes to Jim's aid in the mausoleum. He makes a grand entrance, then reaches over and grabs the shoulder of the man holding a shotgun on Jim. He then pulls this man backwards and causes the shotgun to go off harmlessly upward. But when Ned made his entrance, this man never took his eyes off of Jim even though a threat had just appeared in his rear. This would be contrary to human nature.
