A man comes looking for Eric. He first thinks it might be the police for parking on double yellow lines.
It turns out that Eric has a bequest from the will of a woman Eric once helped to get home on a dark foggy night.
It's the husband of the woman who has come looking for Eric. The bequest includes a large frying pan.
There are a lot of flashbacks as Eric recalls the foggy night some 15 years earlier. Eric gets so lost he cannot find his way home after showing a woman with a Scots accent the way to the street she lives in.
It was also the night that Eric met Corky for the first time. He also has a role to play as the husband seems a tad miffed about the events of the night.
It comes as a little surprise to me that people always thought the fog was really foggy in the past.
You would not think that the fog would be a concept to make a comedy program out of. Eric Sykes somehow succeeds.
