I absolutely loved Martha Randolph's (Joanna Miles) showdown with J. R. (Larry Hagman). When she told him that someone was going to end up killing him, and she hope'd she be there to see it happen, then stared him down before Donna (Susan Howard) got her out of the office, she was great. That was one awesome staredown. You could feel that she meant every word!
Also, I was floored watching Sue Ellen (Linda Gray) going after Pam (Victoria Principal) about Cliff (Ken Kercheval) being charged with shooting Bobby (Patrick Duffy) and what kind of person would shoot and attempt to murder someone. Has she forgotten that her own sister, Kristin Shepard (Mary Crosby), shot and almost killed Sue Ellen's husband J. R. because he used her for s*x and got her to sleep with other oil executives to get info and then J. R. dumped her when he got tired of her? And that Kristin lied about Christopher's paternity (she had actually miscarried J. R.'s baby) and married & got pregnant by a con man Jeff Farraday (Art Hindle), tried to pass off Jeff's baby as J. R.'s *and* Jordan Lee's (Don Starr) baby, bilking them both for child support $?! How does she think she has a right to lecture anyone on someone else's behavior?
