Isla Fisher’s shoe size is 8 in the US, 6 in the UK, and 38 in the European. “I’m 5ft 3ins and about 6st 10Ib (94lbs), although I don’t weigh myself – I don’t own scales,” she told The Mirror in 1998.

In a 2005 interview with Edinburgh Evening News, she talked about filming the American comedy film Wedding Crashers with Vince Vaughn, who measures 6ft 5 (195.6 cm).
It was difficult to get a rapport in the beginning with Vince though, because my eyes met his belly button, he’s so tall.

Netflix is ready to tee off with Will Ferrell.
In his first scripted TV comedy series, Ferrell will star in a scripted comedy series titled Golf. The streamer has picked up 10 episodes of the series, which is co-created by Ferrell, Ramy Youssef — who will also have an onscreen role — and Josh Rabinowitz (Babes, Ramy, The Carmichael Show).
In Golf, Ferrell will play a fictional golf legend. Details on Youssef’s part are being kept under wraps though sources say the show isn’t a two-hander. (Netflix also stresses that Golf should be capitalized, though it’s unclear if it’s an acronym.)
Youssef and Rabinowitz, who previously teamed for Hulu’s critically praised comedy Ramy, will serve as showrunners and exec produce Golf alongside Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum and Alix Taylor for Gloria Sanchez Productions. After a decade and change playing superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sandbox, Robert Downey Jr. wants to remind everyone there's more to him than Tony Stark. In the years since permanently (?) retiring his MCU alter ego in "Avengers: Endgame," the actor has lined up an ambitious slate of projects. Between getting an Oscar for his supporting role in Christopher Nolan's Best Picture-winning "Oppenheimer" and pulling a Peter Sellers by tackling multiple colorful characters in Park Chan-wook and Don McKellar's "The Sympathizer" miniseries, it's fair to say Rdj the character actor is officially back.
As chance would have it, we're now 10 years removed from the last time Downey tried (but failed) to renew his acting bonafides with "The Judge." Directed by David Dobkin, the 2014 drama stars Downey as Hank Palmer, a big-shot lawyer from Chicago who returns to his podunk hometown in Indiana to attend his mother's funeral.

Hollywood actress Isla Fisher is no stranger to comedy. She has been a part of a number of memorable films in the genre including Wedding Crashers, Confessions of a Shopaholic, and Hot Rod. You would think Fisher would have gotten used to the occasionally bizarre requirements of the genre and the lengths that actors will go to for a laugh.
But as it turns out, the actress was not prepared for one particular scene involving an elephant in the movie Isla Fisher made with her then-husband Sacha Baron Cohen, 2016’s The Brothers Grimsby. Cohen, of course, is known for pushing the boundaries of comedy like no other actor working today. Things got so intense that Fisher regretted bringing her parents on set to watch the scene being filmed.

Loki star Owen Wilson is still not letting O. J. Simpson off the hook for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. Simpson was acquitted in the infamous trial that still has many people divided on the final non-guilty verdict. Wilson refused to star in the upcoming film, titled The Juice, which portrays the NFL star as innocent of the murder. The Wedding Crashers star was offered a boatload of money for the role.

While the majority of fans appreciated Wilson walking away from the project, a few believed that the actor should have respected the justice system’s motto of ‘innocent until proven guilty.’ The controversial film is being helmed by British director Joshua Newton.

Actors Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen were together for 14 years before their shocking divorce earlier in the year. But according to Fisher, their relationship wouldn’t have been a thing in the first place if it wasn’t for Cohen’s humor.

Cohen and Fisher may have gotten married in 2010, but they actually knew each other a lot longer than that. According to Cohen himself, the two met at a party in Australia around the year 2000. Cohen confided in a resurfaced interview with The New York Times that Fisher’s humor caught her attention.
“She was hilarious,” Cohen said. “We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party. I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did.

‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Guest Star Troy Kotsur Reveals the Joke That Made Larry David Break Character
Note: The following story contains spoilers from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” Season 12, Episode 3.
Sunday’s episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” titled “Vertical Drop, Horizontal Tug,” sees Larry David hit the golf course, where he eavesdrops on a lesson that improves his swing a little too well.
The lesson is given to Troy Kotsur, a deaf actor who is best known for his Academy Award-winning supporting role in the Apple TV+ film “Coda.” Through the rest of the episode, Kotsur’s feud with David intensifies as he’s hit in the back by one of Larry’s golf balls and later hit with a bagel intended for a homeless man.
To keep the narrative spontaneous, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is shot without a script. Cast members are given scene outlines so they can improvise lines as they go. The actor opened up about how his prior experience in improv helped him make David...

"Wedding Crashers" and "Anchorman" star Vince Vaughn showed up during the big game alongside two of the greatest sports legends of all time: Tom Brady and Wayne Gretzky. The former Patriots quarterback and NHL hockey legend were seen alongside Vaughn in a BetMGM ad, which aired during this year's Super Bowl between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. While the Chiefs won the game, the commercial was also a winner. But how is it that this became Vaughn's first Super Bowl commercial during his long career that spans more than three decades?

Participants in the commercial were “thinking about all that every actor has ever gone through auditioning,” says Dern, via emailed comments and “just enjoyed making each other laugh.” The concept, she adds, was devised by “my dear buddies Bradley and Gloria Cooper and our mutual friend Brian Klugman” an executive at Panay Films, which worked on the campaign. The idea ” made us all laugh and it was a delight to dream up something fun...

“Up until that point, I was always just trying to get it right on camera. Be present and get it right,” he explained about his mentality before the movie, via Variety. “I’m watching Vince Vaughn destroy a scene, just crush it, and then he wants another take. It was the scene where the grandmother is shooting him, takes the gun out and he’s running out. He’s just like, ‘I want to do another one.

Vince Vaughn has been offered Super Bowl commercials in the past, but he finally said yes when he got the chance to work alongside sports greats Tom Brady and Wayne Gretzky in an ad this year for gambling app BetMGM.
The spot features Vaughn explaining that anyone could use BetMGM except the retired NFL star because he’s already “won enough.” The “Wedding Crashers” star is also shown having dinner with ice hockey legend Gretzky.
Vaughn rarely does commercials. “I’ve been offered Super Bowl ads in the past…but this just really made sense,” Vaughn told me Tuesday at the final season premiere of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” “I love Las Vegas, obviously, and MGM. That felt like a good fit. Tom and Wayne are great, so it just felt fun.”
Vaughn continued, “Tom is super easy and he’s funny, same with Wayne. They were easy to be around.

How an artist finds their muse is a mystery that goes back centuries. For “Maestro,” the Leonard Bernstein biopic that Bradley Cooper wrote, directed, and starred in, we know Cooper studied the late conductor’s every move and worked for years to get a handle on the baton himself. But during a recent conversation with Cooper’s fellow 2024 Oscar Best Actor nominees Jeffrey Wright, Colman Domingo, Paul Giamatti, and Cillian Murphy, Cooper cited a very specific life-changing moment inspired by a fellow performer.
It was Vince Vaughn, Cooper’s co-star in the ribald 2005 comedy “Wedding Crashers,” that changed the 12-time Oscar nominee forever, he said.
“Up until that point, I was always just trying to get it right on camera. Be present and get it right,” Cooper, who was best known as the nice guy on “Alias” at that time, said during the SAG-AFTRA actors’ panel. “I’m watching Vince Vaughn destroy a scene,...

Bradley Cooper has come a long way from his memorably antagonistic role as the preppy boyfriend, Sack Lodge, to Rachel McAdams‘ character in Wedding Crashers. In the film, Cooper’s character was rightfully suspicious of Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn conning their way into a wealthy family when Wilson developed feelings for McAdams. This starts a subplot where Cooper tries to expose them. Although the role is the quintessential “bad guy” character in the 2005 Frat Pack film, Cooper would seem to come away with the biggest career from that film as he has become quite the prestigious filmmaker.
According to Variety, Cooper attributes Wedding Crashers as his break-out role when he was mostly known as an ally to Jennifer Garner in Alias, and the Sack Lodge character was a big opportunity to show his range with his image. Cooper recently had partaken in an actor discussion with fellow nominees. When...

Curb Your Enthusiasm returns to Max this month in what’s being called the show’s final season (for now). If you’re not ready for the Larry David-centric comedy series to end, you can binge all eleven of the show’s previous seasons on Max right now before hitting the new episodes.
Tokyo Vice will also be back in February for season 2. Stars Ansel Elgort, Ken Watanabe, Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu, and Ayumi Ito are joined by Kubozuka and Miki Maya this time around, as Jake Adelstein feels the danger closing in on him. Max also welcomes you to the premiere of the highly acclaimed (and highly depraved) Dicks: The Musical this month, as a couple of self-obsessed businessmen discover they’re identical twins and decided to bring their divorced parents back together.

Bradley Cooper joined his fellow best actor SAG Award nominees Jeffrey Wright (“American Fiction”), Cillian Murphy (“Oppenheimer”), Paul Giamatti (“The Holdovers”) and Colman Domingo (“Rustin”) for an hour-long chat as part of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations program, during which each actor was asked to name a career-changing moment they had with a fellow actor on set. Cooper, nominated for his self-directed performance in “Maestro,” had perhaps the most surprising pick of the bunch: Vince Vaughn in “Wedding Crashers.”
The 2005 R-rated comedy “Wedding Crashers” cast Cooper in the supporting role of Sack Lodge, the villainous boyfriend of Claire (Rachel McAdams). The actor was mostly known at the time for his good guy role opposite Jennifer Garner on the ABC spy thriller “Alias,” which is why he viewed his “Wedding Crashers” casting as such a “huge break” since he was finally tasked with changing up his onscreen image.

The weekend numbers are here and with it we are seeing the beginnings of how much the Writers and Actors strikes are going to affect the 2024 box office as there were zero wide new releases. Granted, January is generally a slow time and most studios sit this weekend out due to not wanting to compete with the NFL Championship games, but even last year saw Neon release their Brandon Cronenberg film Infinity Pool while Fathom events knew their faith based audience would show up for Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist.
But let’s not bury the lead: in its third week of release The Beekeeper has pulled off the upset and won the weekend with $7.4 million. That is quite the feat as R rated action films have had a really tough time at the box office in recent years. In our Thursday predictions, we thought the NFL playoffs may...

[This story contains spoilers from the season two finale of Wolf Like Me.]
In the final scene of season two of Peacock’s comedy-drama Wolf Like Me, Mary (Isla Fisher) gives birth to her baby with boyfriend Gary (Josh Gad), revealing its identity as a wolf. Anxiety over whether their child would be a human or animal was at the center of most of the conflict throughout the show’s second season. But the streamer has yet to announce if audiences will get to see how Mary, Gary and his daughter Emma (Ariel Donoghue) will handle life raising a wolf offspring in a potential season three.
“Right now, we don’t know if we’re going to get to make Wolf Like Me 3. But it’s such an exciting time to be on Peacock, and when we do make it, they really let us push the boundaries and create the series we want to,” Fisher tells The Hollywood Reporter in the conversation below.

Every New Year brings headlines of all the new movies hitting theaters that year that excite people. Most of those titles come from the summer and winter months, with a few mentions for spring release movies. Do you know what month has almost no mention in those articles? January! There are several reasons for that. First, January generally sees strong holdover numbers from the big Holiday blockbusters that many studios tend to steer clear of. However, the holidays of 2023 didn’t produce an Avatar: The Way of Water-sized hit the way 2022 did. To be fair, it did produce Wonka, which may not be a near $700 million domestic grosser, but it has still shown some solid numbers over the past few weeks. Second, NFL playoffs. There is simply no other event that commands Americans’ attention more than the run-up to the Super Bowl, a television event that nearly every year...

Last weekend at the box office we saw Mean Girls, The Beekeeper, Wonka, Anyone But You and Migration take the top five spots on the charts. With only one new wide release this week that isn’t expected to light the box office on fire, you can expect those same five to repeat.
The real question this weekend will be: What kind of hold does Mean Girls have? Last week the musical adaptation saw a 3-day opening of $28.6 million (with its full 4-day holiday take coming in at $33.6 million). For a film budgeted at just $36 million, that was a tremendous start and no matter the drop off this week, Mean Girls will be looking at a profitable theatrical run, which is really all that is required from any movie. But you can’t ignore the lackluster 66% audience score. Generally new movies have a halo around them for the first few...

We all know what happened after 2004’s Mean Girls – Regina became a lacrosse champ, Karen used her psychic boobs to present the morning weather announcements, Gretchen co-opted the Cool Asians, and Cady floated in a newly repaired girl world… while keeping a beady eye on any emerging Young Plastics set to reinstate the old hierarchy. Now there’s a film of the musical of the film.

HBO has dropped the trailer for season 12 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry David has returned to bless us with his final gripes.
HBO has released the trailer for the 12th and final season of its Emmy-winning comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm.
The 10-episode final season continues to see David as an over-the-top version of himself navigating his social and professional life in Hollywood. The show has spanned nearly 25 years given its irregular production schedule, which was largely dependent on when David felt ready and inspired to make another season. It’s also HBO’s longest-running series.
In December, when David confirmed the new season would be its last, he released this statement: “As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be — the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character. The new year is here. Valentine’s Day is coming up, and Netflix has unveiled new details about their upcoming romantic comedy, Players, which also includes some first-look pictures. The cast of the new comedy features an ensemble that includes Gina Rodriguez, Damon Wayans Jr., Joel Courtney, Augustus Prew, Liza Koshy, Ego Nwodim, Marin Hinkle and Tom Ellis. The movie follows in the tradition of films like Wedding Crashers, where a group of friends have perfected the process of meeting strangers for one-night stands and the complications that can arise from that.
The official synopsis from Netflix reads,
“New York sportswriter Mack (Gina Rodriguez) has spent years devising successful hook-up “plays” with best friend Adam (Damon Wayans Jr.) and their crew. While it has led to countless one-night stands over the years, following their playbook comes with a strict set of ground rules — chief among them: you can’t build a relationship from a play.

Cooper – who famously studied at the Actors Studio in New York and once even asked two-time Oscar winner Sean Penn a question from the audience on “Inside the Actors Studio” – made his feature acting debut in 2001’s “Wet Hot American Summer,” and later broke out in comedies like “Wedding Crashers” and television hits like “Alias.”
But starting with 2012’s “Silver Linings Playbook,” Cooper reached another level. That film from David O. Russell landed Cooper his first Oscar nomination and put him on the map of serious filmmakers. In the nine years since the success of “Silver Linings,” Cooper has received seven additional Oscar nominations, including as co-writer and producer of “A Star Is Born” and producer of “American Sniper” and “Joker,” and worked with top filmmakers such as Russell,...

Jennifer Aniston went through a very difficult time after her tumultuous divorce from Brad Pitt. But fortunately this 2005 rom-com seemed to be exactly what she needed to heal.
Jennifer Aniston found doing ‘The Break-up’ very cathartic Jennifer Aniston | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Aniston didn’t miss the irony in being offered The Break-up after her very public divorce from ex-husband Pitt. The film saw Aniston starring alongside Wedding Crashers star Vince Vaughn as a couple forced to live together after separating. When she was first offered the picture, she couldn’t help laugh at it. But she quickly realized she was only able to do the movie because of her past relationship troubles.
“The irony of it? Well, yeah, it’s pretty ironic,” Aniston once said according to China Daily. “At the time, it was something I thought about it. When I first got the phone call that a movie called The Break-Up was coming,...

Bradley Cooper didn’t have the easiest time doing the television series Alias. A rising star back then, Cooper wanted more out of Alias and his profession. He saw a romantic fling between his character and Jennifer Garner’s as a means for expanding his character.

Cooper has been very candid about his time on the hit television show Alias. The series remains one of Garner’s most popular roles, but the memory has been a bit of a sore spot for her co-star. Especially since his time on the show might’ve done more harm than good for his acting career. Directors couldn’t see past the nice-guy image Cooper cultivated on the series, which limited his acting opportunities.

While the physical media business has been in freefall over the last decade, THR is reporting that DVDs and Blu-rays might be making a comeback similar to those experienced by CDs and Vinyl Records. According to the report, while Best Buy and Netflix have both exited the physical media sphere, Amazon and other online giants aren’t planning on giving up on the technology. Many see the resurgence of physical media for music as an early precursor of better times ahead for DVD/Blu-ray.
While unlikely to ever again reach its 2012 peak of $1.1 billion in revenue, many see physical media as having a comeback as a more niche media.
Update: it turns out the business was much bigger that we let on, with the following correction sent:
This article has misleading information. The peak sales number of $1.1 billion from 2012 and $146 million in 2022 was just Netflix and their DVD service.

Rudolph Isley, a founding member of the Grammy-winning Isley Brothers who helped create some of the most memorable songs in American musical history, has died. His brother Ron confirmed the news to Deadline. Rudolph Isley was 84.
In a statement provided to Deadline, Ron Isley said of his brother’s passing, “There are no words to express my feelings and the love I have for my brother. Our family will miss him. But I know he’s in a better place.”
The Isley Brothers have had various lineups through the years, but Rudy was with the band from its beginnings in the late 1950s to his retirement from music in 1989, when he took up a Christian ministry. During that time, they recorded such classics as “Shout,” cowritten by Rudy, which in 1959 became their first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. The record sold over a million copies. The group went...

Vince Vaughn appeared to have a ball while referencing some of the popular films from his oeuvre during an appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay.
The actor and longtime sports fan was the Week 4 guest picker Saturday on the cable television program that previews the day’s NCAA college football matchups. During the episode, which filmed from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, Vaughn made it clear that he is a big supporter of the school’s Fighting Irish, who are set to play the Ohio State Buckeyes later Saturday in a high-profile game between two nationally ranked teams.
“This is like picking kids for me,” Vaughn explained. “My dad’s from [Ohio]. My sister, born in Columbus. My niece goes to Ohio State. And you can’t talk about football without talking about the great state of Ohio.”
He continued, “The Buckeyes are for real, always. You can never doubt them.
