On 12 December 2002, Peter Marshall, the original "Master of the Hollywood Squares" took over the hosting duties for a day, with regular host Tom Bergeron in the center square, the first time he has hosted Hollywood Squares in over 20 years.
One week of shows would tape in one day which is why they could ensure the same guest for 5 "days" in a row. After each episode Tom Bergeron and the panelists would change outfits and then go tape another one.
One of the very few game shows to feature all four Baldwin brothers (Alec, Daniel, Billy, Stephen). Alec was the centre square for a few weeks while the other three appeared together for a week. All four members of the boyband 98 Degrees also appeared together in one episode. Nick and Drew have made the most appearances as they both appeared during Siblings Week.
During the two weeks of Game Show Week, Bob Barker is the only game show host to not make an appearance as a panelist. Tom Kennedy instead made an appearance as he hosted the nighttime version of The Price Is Right.
