Tonight’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow brought the “Invasion!” crossover to a close in style, but it also nicely set the stage for what’s to come in the series. Martin Stein is hiding the fact that he’s created an aberration in the form of a daughter who previously didn’t exist, while clues about Rip Hunter’s disappearance were offered in the message left by the future Barry Allen.
How much of that will be addressed in next week’s midseason finale remains to be seen, but in the first official images from “The Chicago Way,” we get to see the Legends pay a visit to the 1920s. They’re there to try and stop the Reverse-Flash, but now that he’s recruited both Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlyn to his Legion of Doom, that may very well be easier said that done.

The CW has released a first look at next week’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and it’s clear that things are about to get a whole lot worse for the team now that they’re back on their time travelling adventures. It was in tonight’s instalment that they helped thwart the “Invasion,” but with the Legion of Doom about to assemble, aliens are the least of their worries.
As you can see in the promo above, the Reverse-Flash and Damien Darhk are about to recruit Malcolm Merlyn to their villainous group. However, the biggest surprise here is the return of Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold. He sacrificed himself in the season 1 finale of Legends of Tomorrow, but this version looks a lot more like his former villainous self.
For more on what to expect from this episode – titled “The Chicago Way” – here’s the official synopsis:

The Legion of Doom will finally assemble in next week's episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and while we didn't expect him to return quite so soon, the promo below confirms that Captain Cold is back! How exactly he's been resurrected remains to be seen, but given the Reverse-Flash's ability to travel through time, it's possible that this is a past version who never ended up becoming a member of the Legends. What did you guys think of the final part of the "Invasion!" crossover tonight? Are you excited to see Captain Cold return in Legends of Tomorrow? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts below. Legion Of Doom — When a new Time Aberration is discovered by the Legends, they find themselves headed to 1927 Chicago. The Legends quickly realize that they have been set up by Eobard Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough...

Arrow episode 100 is part of the big Invasion crossover, and also the best episode of the season so far...

5.8 Invasion!
Obviously TV crossovers are a blast, especially when they fall under the superhero genre. However, if we’re being completely frank and honest with ourselves, a great majority of the fun comes from fan’s dedication to completely different TV shows being rewarded. Arrow’s instalment doubled down on that by bringing fans all the way back to Season 1 with a little alternate reality fun.
For those who didn’t commit to also watching The Flash part of this whole thing (shame on you) it ended with Oliver, Diggle, Sara, Ray, and Thea being abducted by an invading alien force known as the Dominators. Now,...

Entertainment Geekly is a weekly column that examines contemporary pop culture through a geek lens and simultaneously examines contemporary geek culture through a pop lens. So many lenses!
In last week’s column, I offered a few ideas for improving Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the just-okay non-superhero Marvel spinoff with tantalizingly limitless potential. Said ideas ran the gamut from reasonable (Solve the Coulson mystery) to outlandish (Make everyone evil) to the extremely unlikely (bring in the Black Knight)! In response, readers posted their own exciting Shield-reboot ideas. Let’s take a look at some of the best.

From farting Slitheen to strangling companions, Robin rounds up some of Doctor Who's most bonkers moments...
With fifty years on the clock, it's safe to say that Doctor Who has enjoyed its fair share of Wtf moments. For some, these will be points that momentarily ruined the show, and for others, they'll encapsulate its ever-evolving style and bohemian spirit. Besides, the guy travels in time and space and changes his face so he pretty much has an excuse for anything! In no particular order then, here are some of Doctor Who's most bizarre moments:
Nazi River Song Kills The Doctor (Let's Kill Hitler)
A robot assassin full of miniature people. River Song dressed in a Nazi outfit. Hitler in a cupboard. Killer machines chanting “You will experience a tingling sensation and then death.” This episode is full of mental stuff and although...

"Community" Season 4 is having a rough go of it. Ratings are, as always, a struggle. Many (including me) have complained that the show just isn't as good without former showrunner Dan Harmon.
But is that true? Has the quality of "Community" gone downhill for these first episodes of Season 4?
I could analyze all of every episode to find an answer, but that would be both time-consuming and confusing. Instead, a look at a few of the new season's end tags (those vaguely related sketches that air as the credits roll) to see if they work.
The first tag, for "History 101," continues the laugh-track joke from earlier in that episode.
What works?
As the continuation of the earlier joke, this makes sense. The "Bosom Buddies" look of Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) has an intrinsic hilarity that cannot be denied.
What doesn't work?
After multiple viewings, I'm still not...

Burbank – Chat Fatigue is coming.
Forget swine flu (or H1N1); Chat Fatigue will be the sickness that will overtake millions this fall. The group most susceptible to this are NBC viewers. Now that Jay Leno will be taking over the 10 p.m. slot from Monday to Friday (starting Sept. 14) on the Peacock network, viewers will get four hours of people sitting behind desks and talking directly to the camera.
Can the average viewer really handle going from Leno to local news to Conan O’Brien to Jimmy Fallon to Carson Daly? How many guys in suits and ties sitting behind a desk do you want to experience after an 8 hours of work day with guys in suits and ties sitting behind desks? They’re all going to stare at you through the boob tube and jibber jabber. Kinda like the doofus with the desk next to you at work.
