Ziva has been on the outside so long that she couldn't come back in.
The fan favorite spent most of NCIS Season 17 Episode 2 working on her own scheme while keeping her former teammates largely in the dark.
It's still too early to tell if she can return to a normal life.
That's the goal for which Ziva was striving, and she proved willing to do almost anything to get there.
It didn't make sense that Gibbs let Ziva go her own way after they had taken Sahar into custody.
Granted, no one puts Ziva in the corner. Not even Gibbs.
But it was more than that. Gibbs was distancing himself from Ziva, his surrogate daughter.
That's why he had Jack ineffectively interrogate Sahar and had Ducky, then McGee meet with Ziva instead of himself.

"Ziva David is freakin' alive?," says a member of the team on the official trailer for NCIS Season 17.
Fans have been clamoring for Cote de Pablo's return for quite some time now, so it's great that the series has pulled the trigger and brought her back.
As Gibbs tries to get information from Ziva, they start being shot at from someone outside the house, meaning that Ziva has brought the action with her.
Ziva reveals the person shooting at them is named Sahar and she's decided that Gibbs is also on her hit list.
That confirms why Ziva arrived on NCIS Season 16 Episode 24 in one of the show's biggest twists to date.

After six years of boldly charting its own course into the great unknown, the DC Extended Universe is finally cutting its losses and rerouting to a more well-traveled path. Hardcore fans may not agree with the decision or like what it entails, but there’s no denying that “Justice League” borrows a page or two from the (wildly popular) Marvel playbook. Maybe even three or four. Actually, if we’re being completely honest, it lifts entire chapters wholesale from one cinematic saga to another.
And not a minute too soon. At this point, playing things safe may have been the only way to right the ship and convince audiences to continue investing in these characters. “Justice League” was always going to be the Dceu equivalent of “The Avengers,” but the extent to which Zack Snyder’s latest opus cribs from the competition in order to sell us on its heroes is still pretty surprising.

In theaters April 21. By Peter Belsito
My good friend Producer Mahyad Tousi brought this wonderful new film to me, about to be released here in the U.S. this Friday April 21 by Open Road wide on 2200+ screens. International sales by “Sierra Affinity.”
It is the first big-budget, star-driven film about the Armenian Genocide.
Charlotte Le Bon with children
The Armenian Genocide, also known as the Armenian Holocaust, was the Ottoman (now Turkey) government’s systematic extermination of 1.5 million Armenians, mostly Ottoman citizens within the Ottoman Empire and its successor state, the Republic of Turkey.
Christian Bale
The starting date is conventionally held to be 24 April 1915, the day that Ottoman authorities rounded up, arrested, and deported 235 to 270 Armenian intellectuals and community leaders from Constantinople to the region of Ankara, the majority of whom were eventually murdered. The genocide was carried out during and after World War I.

Before David Lynch was a filmmaker, he was a struggling painter, whose lifeblood was to “drink coffee, smoke cigarettes, and paint.” That’s what he dubbed “the art life,” and what an image – as featured in the many contemporary photos seen in this new documentary – it is, the bequiffed 20-something Lynch sitting back in his Philadelphia studio, composing transgressive abstract artwork. Bookmarked by footage of Lynch working on his latest paintings in his Hollywood Hills penthouse, the wonderful new documentary David Lynch: The Art Life showcases the artistic developments of one of America’s most singular directors.
Lynch’s childhood was in not-so-different a setting of one of his trademark films. He moved around small-town America wherever the Us Department of Agriculture sent his father, a research scientist, growing up in rural Montana, or Spokane, Idaho (near the setting of Twin Peaks), before moving to Virginia near DC. When Tyler Perry sold his Atlanta mansion for $17.5 million earlier this month it set a record for the highest paid price ever for a private home in the Georgia capital. "I know this sounds ridiculous, but I wanted more land so I bought more land outside of the city," the 45-year-old Madea mogul told me this weekend while promoting his new movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Darkness (in theaters on June 2.) "It's the same distance to the studio as my old house, but now I can have horses and pigs and organic vegetables." That old house measures in at 34,688 square feet and sits on 17 acres. The French Provincial-style estate includes seven bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, two kitchens, an...

Just a day after it was revealed Megan Fox was pregnant with her third child, she posted an epic Instagram confirming who wasn't the father. The pic was a collage that included pics of Will Arnett, Shia Labeouf and New Girl star Jake Johnson with the caption "#NotTheFather." "It was pretty humorous," Arnett told me yesterday while promoting his and Fox's new movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Darkness. "I got asked about it about a million times and I had so many great answers that I'm not allowed to say." He whispered one Nsfw joke he wanted to so badly crack. "There's no way because it would instantly be retweeted a hundred million times," Arnett...

The Winchester boys tackle a curse in this week's Valentine's Day-themed episode, Love Hurts...
This review contains spoilers.
11.13 Love Hurts
A nanny, who has been having an affair with the father of the child she looks after, has her heart ripped out of her chest, captured on a nanny cam and it looks like the father did it. When the Winchesters see the footage, they think immediately that they’re dealing with a shapeshifter and not, sadly, an “ironic werewolf.” It turns out it’s all been a ploy gone awry by the wife to get her husband back, believing she has cast a return-to-love spell when in fact, it’s actually some pretty dark magics from a local witch, with a kissable curse built in. Anyone who locks lips with the one holding the current curse finds themselves as the next target.
After last week’s more Supernatural family-orientated monster-of-the-week episode,...

11.12 Don't You Forget About Me
With Amara in the wind and Lustiel (thanks commenter SarahJay55 for that hilarious portmanteau suggestion) off on his own personal mission to stop the Darkness, the Winchesters are free to pay a visit to Jodie Mills at the request of the wayward Clare. She’s still living with Jodie and her other adopted foundling, the former jailbait for vampires, Alex. It turns out Clare’s been ‘hunting’ but not very successfully, leaving Jodie at her wit’s end. However, Clare’s hunch turns out to be correct. When Alex’s favourite teacher is hung upside down from the school’s flagpole, the brothers agree that something in their wheelhouse is going on and it may have...

This review contains spoilers.
11.11 Into The Mystic
This week, we’ve a locked room mystery on our hands in Into The Mystic. After a cold open in Ireland featuring a shrieking, floating woman, a man bashing his own head in and a baby left to fend for itself, we find the boys investigating the case of a man brutally killed inside his own room with no signs of a break-in. Sam’s still reeling from his run-in with Lucifer so Dean tries to get him back on track, figuring that they’ve got nothing to work on the Darkness yet. Of course, they’re both blissfully unaware that Castiel is no longer in residence and Lucifer has taken over his meatsuit, intent on stopping the Darkness in his own, unique way.

It's been several years since she's released music, but The Voice alum Erin Willett has a new song. The 26-year-old debuted her single "Out of the Darkness" on Monday.
"I'm super excited," Willett tells People. "It's a song that I wrote a couple of years ago and it's just honest. Like you know what? I am just trying to figure out life and I'm just going to be vulnerable. I'm going to let you know my demons."
"I feel like in that way, I can hopefully just relate to people and say, 'We all go through stuff,'" Willett adds.

11.10 The Devil In The Details
‘The Road So Far’ is always the best way to kick off a return to Supernatural, not only bringing us up to speed with important events, but also giving us a kickass soundtrack. The episode kicks off with Sam stuck in the Cage with Lucifer, joyfully taking the younger Winchester through a tour of memories in order to make his point. Dean, meanwhile, is recovering from the attempt to kill Amara by the angels when he finds out what has happened to his brother. Castiel tries to ascertain whether Amara survived and Crowley and Rowena (revealed to have been working with Lucifer… obviously) enter a begrudging alliance in the hope that Lucifer will know what to do in order to defeat the Darkness,...

Sam and Dean have resigned themselves to the fact that Sam interviewing Lucifer seems to be the only way to get any information on trapping the Darkness. Sam maintains his visions are from God and therefore, He must know what he’s talking about. They seek the help of Crowley and Rowena to gain access to Hell and to allow Sam to approach the Cage and interview his former foe. 11.8 Just My Imagination
It seems like a fairly ordinary morning for Sam when he wanders, bleary-eyed, into the kitchen to make coffee only to discover that the table is laden with a feast of sweet treats and marshmallow nachos. It’s the work of his imaginary best friend, Sully, though he hasn’t been seen since Sam was a kid, but instead of a product of his mind, Sully’s actually quite real. He’s a Zanna, creatures from Romanian folklore who appear to children and help them gain their confidence before moving on. A mysterious knife-wielder has been murdering Zanna, leaving traumatised children in their wake and Sully employs Sam and a rather incredulous Dean to investigate.

It’s clearly a man in a mask, but this is Supernatural and the mask doesn’t come off. As they begin to investigate, the high school coach falls victim to another attacker, this time in a jester costume. The brothers quickly deduce that they’ve got a ghost, Chester, on their hands who is possessing the items Chester used in his job as a children’s entertainer and he’s got revenge on his mind.

Dean and Sam have stayed behind in Fall River to see if they can pick up the now teenage Amara’s trail by the soulless people she leaves behind. Crowley’s having difficulty controlling his rebellious charge, sending out demons to kill those left soulless before Sam and Dean can trace it back to him, inadvertently leading the boys straight to his asylum-based lair. Meanwhile, Castiel’s dealing with his recovery by watching daytime television, having devoured everything ‘the Netflix’ has to offer. This week's Supernatural episode may suffer in comparison with how great the previous one was, but it's still highly entertaining...
This review contains spoilers.
11.5 Thin Lizzie
Thin Lizzie starts as many other episodes of Supernatural have; with a mysterious killer appearing, killing an innocent victim or two with a splash of blood to end it all with before the title card appears. Sam thinks it’s a fairly ordinary haunting as the victims are killed with an axe in the bedroom of infamous alleged killer Lizzie Borden. Dean remains unconvinced, but when they dig a little deeper and more bodies start appearing, the case appears to be in the Winchester wheelhouse after all, though not in the way anyone perhaps expects.
After the traditional episode feel of last week’s fantastic Baby, you could be forgiven for assuming, along with Sam, that Thin Lizzie is going to be another classic-style episode,...

With Sam cured and Dean all fine and dandy (well, by Dean’s standards), it’s Cas’ turn to be mended in The Bad Seed. Rowena cast the original spell that cursed him and so the Winchesters turn their attention to tracking down the witch and forcing her to undo her handiwork before Cas hurts himself or others.
They also have the idea of potentially tracking down the still-free Metatron in the hope that he might know where God is to call Him back to deal with the Darkness. Speaking of which, Amara is now residing in Hell with Crowley attempting to meet her every need, whether that’s educating her with Hitler’s Nuremberg rallies or...

Supernatural's biblical elements are coming back in a big way as Sam battles to find a cure and Crowley makes an alliance...
This review contains spoilers.
11.2 Form And Void
Picking up from the season opener, Form And Void finds Sam desperately hunting for a cure to the infection that could turn him rabid after a few hours while Baby Amara starts showing off her powers, using letter cubes fired into walls to send messages to her fearful guardians. Jenna calls Dean back so he can work out why the baby's going all Linda Blair, only to find Crowley already there. Castiel's curse is still in effect as he's captured and tortured by two of his angelic brothers, apparently attempting to find answers about what's happening on Earth.
The season opener was all about asking questions - Who is Amara? Will Sam be cured? What do the angels want with Castiel?...

Supernatural has returned for an eleventh season, and while it’s crazy to think that the series has now been on the air since 2005, it’s even crazier that the show is somehow just as enjoyable now as it was a decade ago. In some ways though, that’s the problem with the season eleven premiere. It’s neither better or worse than what’s come before; it’s exactly the same. It seems silly to complain about the show being consistently good, but it wouldn’t have hurt Supernatural to have the same kind of shake up that Arrow has seen in its fourth year.
For example, it’s equal parts disappointing and infuriating that Sam and Dean are once again lying to each other. We’ve been here before so many times that it’s become a trope in Supernatural, and viewers are now left to count down...

11.1 Out Of The Darkness, Into The Fire
Last season left us with a new Big Bad on the loose, the Darkness, supposedly so evil that God shut it away and used the Mark of Cain to keep the door locked. Out Of The Darkness, Into The Fire picks up straight away from where we left off. The Darkness has hit, meeting Dean in a vision, taking the form of a mysterious woman who thanks him for her release. He wakes up a mile away from the car where he had been sitting with Sam, who was knocked unconscious when the wave hit.
Heading back into town, the brothers find a dead road crew and the deputy, Jenna, who managed to fend them off. It appears that...

The Darkness has arrived on Supernatural, and it will make its presence known in the show’s Season 11 premiere, appropriately titled “Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire,” which is only just three weeks away. And while we don’t meet this season’s terrifying big bad in any of the photos below, the many dead bodies, covered in blood and scattered across the hospital that Sam and Dean are at, is a pretty good indicator of The Darkness’ power. In the Supernatural premiere pics that The CW has released, Sam and Dean work together to save a baby from the aforementioned mayhem that has taken over the hospital, but the infant isn’t the only “baby” that’s featured in these photos. A few of the images from “Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire” show Dean pulling all types of weapons out of the Impala, further indicating that...

The website, 1989batman.com, has posted some fantastic never-before-seen images of an unused set built for Tim Burton's Batman Returns. It's a store, located in Gotham Square, that sold nothing but Batman merchandise. Daniel Waters, who wrote screenplay, originally planned to give the Batman store a fairly significant role in the film as it would've appeared in the opening scene and then later on when The Penguin's Red Triangle Circus Gang terrorized Gotham City. Below, are images of the set and excerpts from Waters' script. From Out Of The Darkness Of The Opening Credits We Go To... Ext. A Store--early Evening Of The Current Era Where the Batman logo fills the frame with a portentous soundtrack boom. A playful salvo of snowballs reverberates against this image as the logo is revealed to be a hanging centerpiece in the window of a Batman merchandising store, along with Batman sleds, lunch boxes,...

Blumhouse Productions is moving from the big screen to the small for its latest project, which is based on Son of Sam killer David Berkowitz. Read on for the first details right here.
Deadline is reporting that Jason Blum’s production company is returning to the longform arena with another New York period piece based on a true story: miniseries "Son of Sam." Blumhouse will develop the six-hour mini with Fox TV Studios ("The Killing").
Written by Steven Katz ("The Knick," "From the Earth to the Moon"), "Son of Sam" juxtaposes David Richard Berkowitz’s murder confession of Satan worship and human sacrifice with the actual police investigation of December 1975-1977. For almost two years, the Son of Sam terrorized New York City, killing six people while eluding a massive manhunt and taunting the police with brazen letters. The spree finally came to an end in August 1977 when Berkowitz was...
