A film about Dwoskin's life with polio.
A strange, rather disjointed film focussing on Dwoskin's life with polio. Lots of shots of him going about his everyday life wearing his heavy metal and leather leg-braces (calipers). There is a famous scene in which his girlfriend slowly puts on his leg-braces and walks around in them for several minutes.
Dwoskin later confessed in an interview that he had connected the "disabling" clothes women wear (e.g boots with buckles and straps) worn to look sexy with the orthopaedic apparatus such as leg-braces worn by disabled people.
