Kevin spent 3 years traveling around the world, modeling for print ads and appearing in over 150 commercials, before landing in his breakout series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995).
Kevin David Sorbo was born in Mound, Minnesota, on September 24, 1958, to Ardis (Thompson), a nurse, and Lynn Nain Sorbo, a high school teacher. His father was of Norwegian descent and his mother's ancestry was English, Scottish, and German. In high school, he excelled at football, baseball and basketball; in college, he played these 3 sports, plus hockey. Kevin was also in a number of plays. After leaving college, Kevin joined an actors theater group, and traveled to Europe, then to Sydney, Australia appearing in commercials. At the end of 1986, he settled in Los Angeles. Kevin began to make guest appearances on such popular shows as Murder, She Wrote (1984). At 6' 3" and very muscular, Kevin was a natural for the title role in what would become his signature series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995). Kevin became internationally famous, and he learned the craft of film-making well enough to direct and co-write some of the episodes. Kevin even studied martial arts in order to do many of his own stunts. In real life, Kevin's heart is as big as Hercules'-- he leads "A World Fit for Kids!" as the chair and spokesperson. Kevin devotes much of his time to "A World Fit For Kids!" which is a successful mentoring model that trains inner-city teens to use school, fitness, sports and positive role models for themselves, and then become the coaches and mentors for younger children. In 1998, Kevin married lovely actress Sam Sorbo, best known for her dual role on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995) as Serena/the Golden Hind ("Hind" is a female red deer).- Actor

She was born in Mound, Minnesota on 16 February 1918, the daughter of Peter Andreos (changed to 'Andrews' upon arriving in the US) and Olga Sollie. Her real name was Patricia Marie (Patty nickname). Her father was a Greek Catholic immigrant and her mother a Lutheran from Norway who ran the pure food café, a Greek café in Minneapolis which was located adjacent to the Orpheum Theater. Her sisters were Lavern Sophie born July 6, 1911, died 1967 (cancer); Maxene Angelyn born Jan. 3, 1916, died October 1995 of a heart attack while on vacation at Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Peter Andrews did not think it honorable to have his daughters in show business and decided they should go back to school and become secretaries. Maxine was only four when she first appeared on her first radio broadcast in Minneapolis. By the time she was six she was entertaining at veterans hospitals, for the Mayor of Minneapolis and at Daughters of American Revolution luncheons. Laverne started the trio of sisters and they appeared in kiddie revues on local radio stations and at the Orpheum in their hometown of Minneapolis. It was there they were discovered by Larry Rich, who offered them a job with his traveling revue. Patty was only ten at the time. They began their career in New York city with Jack Belasco's orchestra and later with Ted Mack making the Vaudeville circuit. In 1937 they were heard by recording executive, Dave Kapp and they began a long association with a string of hits. In 1953, the group broke up with Laverne going to New York to study dramatics. Laverne became a career housewife and Patti stayed in show business as a single after their hopes and ambitions clashed with one another. In 1956 they regrouped and sang in Las Vegas at the Flamingo Hotel along with a host of TV offers and a new Capitol recording contract. Their first major hit was "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon", was very well liked by Nazi Germany, until the discovery that the songwriters were a Jewish race. Other top hits included "Don't Fence Me In", "Apple Blossom Time", "Rum and Coca Cola", and "I Can Dream, Can't I?", in 1937.- David McKnight was born on 2 July 1936 in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, USA. Tyler Slater Jensen was born in Orono, Minnesota to Curt, a software engineer and Julie, an elementary school teacher. He has two younger brothers Christopher and Michael. Tyler grew up participating in outdoor activities at his family's lake home cabin often being seen playing baseball, hunting, fishing, and boating. At age 13, Tyler and his family were stricken by tragedy when he learned his father was diagnosed with cancer. His father passed away a short time later leaving Tyler's mom to raise her three young sons. As the eldest son, Tyler quickly matured and took on the responsibility of having to be the man of the house in order to help his mother and siblings.
He attended West Tonka High School in Mound, Minnesota, where he excelled in Varsity Baseball and became All-State his senior year. After high school, he enrolled at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, to play baseball and worked in the summer as a landscaper on Lake Minnetonka. During his junior year, a friend encouraged Tyler to get some photos taken for a modeling agency. His exotic appearance, derived from his Icelandic and Scandinavian ancestry, caught immediate attention of the fashion world. His modeling career took off where he progressed into working with a number of fashion companies, most notably Abercrombie & Fitch, from which he received considerable public exposure. He appeared in numerous editorials, as well as several campaigns and catalogs. He became the premier male model for Guess and the face of Calvin Klein. He lived in Spain, New York and Miami for a span of five years in addition to traveling extensively worldwide.
Tyler segued into an acting career, landing his first acting role in the independent film Spun starring Jason Schwartzman, Brittany Murphy, and Mickey Rourke. In 2004, he was cast as Bucky Helberg in FOX's sitcom "Quintuplets" starring Andy Richter. His breakthrough film was "Finding Rin-Tin-Tin" where he starred as 'Corporeal Lee Duncan" alongside award-winning actor Ben Cross. The film revisits the legendary story about the famous dog found by Duncan during World War I.

Performed for over 50 years on stage, movies and television. Noted mostly for a novelty act: playing a bicycle pump, and "Pop Goes the Weasel" on his fiddle.
