Whitney Anne Adams is a Costume Designer who has worked on internationally-acclaimed films that have been featured at the Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca, and Toronto International Film Festivals. She is a member of both the United Scenic Artists Local 829 and the Costume Designers Guild Local 892.
Whitney is first and foremost a lover of cinema - by the age of 2 she had Mary Poppins memorized in it's entirety as she learned to talk (along with a terrible British accent that lasted nearly a year) and her affection only grew from there. Raised in Northern California, Whitney spent her educational years and the beginning of her professional career working in all realms of theatrical costume design, dressing and tailoring. She was fortunate enough to study costume design at UC San Diego and after completing her degree, she moved to New York City to begin her career, first in theatre and then in film. She is incredibly dedicated to her craft and will stop at nothing to get the job done with a huge grin on her face.
