Mojica’s 1964 film At Midnight I’ll Take Your Soul was the first horror movie to come out of Brazil, and the film serves as a sort of character study of the worst human being on the planet, Mojica’s character Zé do Caixão, a.k.a. Coffin Joe. Despite how awful the guy is, Coffin Joe became a pop...

Exclusive: A popular recurring character from the original Last Man Standing on ABC will be making a return on the Fox revival with a twist. My Wife and Kids and Martin alumna Tisha Campbell has been tapped to recur on the Fox series as Chuck Larabee’s (Jonathan Adams) wife Carol Larabee.
The role was played by Erika Alexander during Lms‘ run on ABC. It has been recast with sitcom pro Campbell as Alexander was not available due to scheduling issues. Alexander currently recurs on two series, the CW drama Black Lightning, which films in Vancouver, and HBO comedy Insecure, which shoots in Los Angeles.
Created by Jack Burditt, Last Man Standing stars Tim Allen as Mike Baxter, a happily married father of three daughters, who finds himself the odd man out as he tries to maintain his manliness in a home dominated by women.

Tim Allen’s conservative political beliefs may bleed into Last Man Standing, but the sitcom will be a Donald Trump-free zone. Asked whether Allen’s titular character, Mike Baxter, will express support for the current Potus when the revived comedy makes its Fox debut this fall, Gary Newman told reporters Thursday at the Television Critics Assoc. summer press tour, “The producers’ plans are simply not to address whether or not he might be a Trump supporter… That could change during the season, but there are no plans at this time… Clearly he’s a character with a conservative viewpoint.”

… it’s awkward, deadpan teenager Tina Belcher of Bob’s Burgers.
That’s right: One of the most animated entries on EW’s list of TV’s Best Characters blew away 24 other worthy competitors—including Arya Stark, Alison Hendrix of Orphan Black, and even Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock Holmes himself—to emerge victorious in our poll. With Thanksgiving giving some of our favorites an episode off, it’s a lighter TV show list this week on the podcast. First we take a look at some of the comedies, including the pilot of Rick and Morty, and talk The Amazing Race. Then it’s over to the dramas, including the premiere of Treme, before we go to the genre series, including the midseason finale of The Walking Dead, the season one finale of Black Mirror, and the remainder of Les Revenants season one. Afterward, we welcome Kyle Anderson from Wtf Are You Watching? and Nerdist.com to the DVD Shelf to help us look at the short-lived cult ’90s animated series Freakazoid!.

Here they are, the last gasp of shows for the 2012-2013 theater season as we approach T-Day (Tony Nomination Day on April 30). And poor Kristine Nielsen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike) and all the men in Orphans have been added to the crowded slate of competitors for Leading Actor/Actress, which means about eight Tony-worthy performers...
