- Jesse is an award-winning producer, composer, mix engineer, sound designer and multi-instrumentalist. He fuses his skill in the studio with his background in musical improvisation to make unique tracks for pretty much everything. His home base is Outsider Audio, a full-feature retreat recording studio he custom built in a converted barn.
In Chicago he was the resident musical director at the Second City where he co-created five revues, all Jeff-Nominated. During that time he also co-wrote, composed, arranged, and musical-directed the unprecedented hit show The Second City Guide to the Opera at Lyric Opera of Chicago, and its recent follow-up Louder! Longer! Wagner! - in which he starred as the titular composer.
He's produced albums and composed for a wide variety of films, pilots, theatrical productions, internet videos, documentaries, podcasts, and a vast, ever-increasing portfolio of content for Second City Works. Recently he won a Jeff Award for his work on Foxfinder and then produced the hit track Permission for Saturday Night Live, featuring Lil Wayne and Future. He's worked with classical musicians, jazz trios, A-List rappers, and produced radio-ready beats and rock/pop tracks for artists and comedians alike.
