The stakes keep getting higher each week on The Voice season 12, and we're creeping closer to a Top 10 showdown. Gwen Stefani is the only coach who doesn't have three singers on her team, as we watched Troy Ramey be eliminated in an intense round of competition. Each singer has been at the top of their game during the live shows, so there's no clear frontrunner right now. Song choice counts now more than ever, which was evident from the iTunes results last time. Every note counts, so get ready for some high intensity performances, and get your voting fingers ready!

We're down to single elimination in season 12 of The Voice, and every note, melody and creative decision counts toward either a save or a send-off. America has spoken, and Troy Ramey is the first contestant to be sent home since the competition moved from team-specific to solo-based results. Adam has referred to the four-chair-turner as one of the best voices of the competitions, yet both Gwen and the rest of America chose to watch him walk away.
Troy has a unique style, which motivates his desire to rearrange well-known songs to suit his style and voice, but since the beginning he has clashed with his coach over these changes. Did Gwen's coaching help him make it this far in the competition, or did her frequent rejection of his artistic decisions hinder his performance and ultimately cost him a spot in the finale?...

Going into The Voice’s Top 12 results show Tuesday, Vanessa Ferguson, Brennley Brown, Chris Blue, Aliyah Moulden and Lauren Duski had to be feeling pretty confident, based on their standout performances Monday. And, given your outpouring of support for Troy Ramey — roll your eyes all you want, I still don’t get it — he probably wasn’t sweating too much, either. That left Stephanie Rice, TSoul and Mark Isaiah — all of whom, like Troy, had to be saved by their coaches during the Live Playoffs — looking especially vulnerable.

Going into The Voice’s Top 12 performance night — with Shania Twain trying on for size a fifth chair — Team Alicia’s Chris Blue looked — and, more importantly, sounded — like a lock to win Season 12. (I can’t be the only one still playing his version of Riri’s “Love On the Brain” on a loop, right? If it was vinyl, I’d have worn out three needles on it by now.) Was the retro-soul showman able to bring down the house once again Monday? Or did his star fade just enough for him to be outshone by a less flashy singer?...

A blazing Black Crowes redo. An overnight transformation. Rehearsal-room drama. Robyn unplugged. Hmm. Night 3 of The Voice’s Battle Rounds must’ve been pretty decent, especially for what you’ve mentioned is a subpar Season 12, because by the end of it, even Adam Levine’s Gwen Stefani-blond ‘do was starting to grow on me. Let’s review Monday’s performances, shall we, then you can play favorites in the comments.

It first appeared on the fourth album, “Tea for the Tillerman,” by this English singer-songwriter. He […]...

From the Ways You Can Tell They’re Getting Serious on The Voice file: Monday’s Blind Auditions found Blake Shelton relying on his dimples to curry favor with not only a contestant but a contestant’s mother, Blake and Adam Levine trying to rattle the un-rattleable Alicia Keys with smack talk, and Gwen Stefani stalking young-girl singers for her roster. But did the coaches recruit any truly noteworthy contestants? Read on below for my (randomly ordered) reviews of the nine singers advancing to the Battle Rounds, then hit the comments with your own critiques.
