Jennifer Westin is a producer and production executive currently serving as SVP, Physical Production at Topic Studios, the award-winning entertainment studio from First Look Media. While at Topic, she has overseen titles such as Sundance award-winners A Real Pain, directed by Jesse Eisenberg, and Theater Camp starring Ben Platt, as well as Shortcomings, the directorial debut from Randall Park.
Previously, Westin was Director of Production Management, Original Independent Film, at Netflix, where she oversaw production on a slate of titles including Falling For Christmas, starring Lindsay Lohan and Best.Christmas.Ever., starring Brandy and Heather Graham. Prior to Netflix, Westin was SVP of Production at MarVista Entertainment, where she executive produced titles such as Stay Awake, directed by Jamie Sisley, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival; Sightless, starring Madelaine Petsch; and wilderness horror saga Hunter Hunter, starring Nick Stahl and Devon Sawa. At MarVista, she also managed production on a slate of 50+ titles per year, including Under Wraps (Disney), the GLAAD-nominated The Christmas Set Up (Lifetime), and Falling Inn Love (Netflix).
Earlier in her career, she founded Covert Productions, a production company that developed and produced such feature films as Caught, starring Anna Camp, directed by Maggie Kiley; and the dark comedy The Big Ask, starring Gillian Jacobs, Melanie Lynskey and Jason Ritter. While at Covert, she also produced a range of short-form content that played at major festivals including Sundance, Tribeca and London.
Jennifer has a BA from USC, and an MFA in film producing from Columbia University.
