With the release of Still Wakes the Deep less than a month away, developer The Chinese Room and publisher Secret Mode have revealed the voice cast for the game in a new mini documentary. The cast includes Alec Newman (Cyberpunk 2077), who will be voicing the main protagonist, Cameron “Caz” McLeary, and Neve McIntosh as Suze, Caz’s wife.
“The thing was so well written, and so well-conceived, that I don’t recall having very long conversations about what Caz should sound like,” says Newman, discussing what struck him about Still Wakes the Deep. “With this, you can feel the writing, you can feel the characters.”
Alongside Newman and McIntosh, the full cast for Still Wakes the Deep includes Karen Dunbar, Michael Abubakar, Clive Russell, Shaun Dooley, Stewart Scudamore, Nicholas Boulton, Duncan Pow, Sandy Batchelor, Alan Turkington, and Noof Ousellam.
Taking place in 1975, disaster has struck the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland.

This article contains spoilers for Star Wars: Andor
Season 1 of the Disney+ series Andor is coming to a close, with episode 12 marking the end of this chapter of Cassian Andor’s (Diego Luna) story. So far this season, we’ve seen Cassian slowly become the Rebel we know from Rogue One as well as a glimpse of the growing Rebellion against the Empire. Meanwhile, the Isb and the Empire have proven to be formidable opponents, as their officers show little mercy in their singular goal of galaxy-wide obedience.
Even though we know how Cassian’s story will end in Rogue One, there are still plenty of questions regarding where we’ll leave him this season. Will Luthen and Cassian reunite on Ferrix? Will Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) have to cross her own moral lines in order to move forward with the Rebellion? Will Cassian ever find his sister?

Ok, by now, if you’re a fan of Lucasfilm’s “Andor” on Disney+, you’re probably well aware that Sergeant Ruescott Melshi (Duncan Pow) recently returned to the series. Who, you ask? Well, as you’re aware, “Andor” is a prequel series to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” and in that film, Melshi is one of the Rebel Alliance lieutenants in the film aiding Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and the Rogue One squadron.

There will be spoilers for "Andor" Episode XI - "Daughter of Ferrix."
"Daughter of Ferrix," the penultimate episode of the first season of "Andor," sets the stage for what will likely prove to be a breathtaking finale. Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) has been able to escape from prison and works to find a path forward alongside Melshi (Duncan Pow). Things have taken a turn for the worse on Ferrix, though. Maarva (Fiona Shaw), Cassian's mom, has passed away and a funeral for her is being planned. As word spreads of her demise, the Isb, Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård), Syril Karn (Kyle Soller), and everyone else, make plans to be there in anticipation of Cassian showing up.
On Coruscant, Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly) confesses to her cousin, Vel Sartha (Faye Marsay), just how bad things have gotten, while Vel herself aims to make them worse by causing trouble for Luthen.

This article contains spoilers for Star Wars: Rogue One and Andor.
Aside from Andy Serkis appearing in the Star Wars universe once again, episode 8 of Andor, “Narkina 5,” features two more familiar faces: Forest Whitaker as Partisan leader Saw Gerrera and Duncan Pow as Ruescott Melshi. In the episode, Saw meets with Luthen Rael on the planet Segra Milo to discuss future Rebellion plans, while Melshi is a prisoner in Cassian Andor’s unit on Narkina 5. Here’s why these characters are so important.
Saw Gerrera has been a mainstay of the Star Wars universe since The Clone Wars, where he led Onderonian forces against the Separatists to save his home planet of Onderon from their rule. In The Bad Batch, Clone Squad 99 is sent to kill Gerrera after he and his militia refuse to submit to the Empire, but they refuse to follow orders, leaving Gerrera and his crew to go about their business.

There will be spoilers for "Andor" Episode VIII - "Narkina 5"
In the previous episode of "Andor," our title character, Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) was arrested for a crime he didn't commit and sentenced to six years of labor. In the latest episode, "Narkina 5", he's sent to prison on Narkina 5, a watery moon of the gas giant Narkina. As Cassian is processed into the prison, he's introduced to Kino Loy (Andy Serkis), the foreman and fellow prisoner in charge of keeping everyone on the fifth floor in line.
Loy tells Cassian exactly how things work on their assembly line and how dangerous it can be to step out of line. He also introduces Cassian to his table-mates, the other prisoners he'll be working with. If they work well together, they'll get to have flavor in their food. If they take last place in productivity, they'll all be tortured. They're all strangers to Cassian,...

This Star Wars: Andor article contains spoilers.
Andor Episode 8
In episode 8 of Andor, half of the action is a Star Wars version of the Shawshank Redemption, and there’s something about this specific incarceration that feels a bit on the fake side of the Force, like the Disneyland version of a space prison. Andor episode 8 is good, but as we watch humans literally build the cogs that make the machines of the Empire work, one can’t help but wonder, are we getting a bit too granular with the logistics of Star Wars?
At the point at which Cassian gets thrown into a forced-labor Imperial prison, nobody wanted Andor to suddenly turn into Alien 3, but there’s still something a bit too sanitized about these Star Wars prison sequences. Essentially, this Imperial prison motivates the inmates to be really good at building cogs(?) and pits various teams of workers against each other.
