Jeff Norton is an award-winning author, writer, and executive producer. He is the originating Executive Producer of Geek Girl (Netflix), championing Holly Smale's best-selling novels and setting up the project with Corus & Netflix and assembling the co-production. In 2019, Jeff developed, packaged and served as Executive Produced Susan Hill's Ghost Story (The Small Hand) for Paramount Global's U.K. broadcaster Channel 5, garnering nearly 2 million consolidated viewers. Jeff also developed and packaged the NYT best-selling Trucktown (Simon & Schuster) picture books by Jon Scieszka and served as Executive Producer on 80 episodes of the pre-school adaptation for Nelvana.
He is also the acclaimed author of many books, including the award-winning thriller series MetaWars (Hachette), the laugh-out-loud books Memoirs of a Neurotic Zombie (Faber), the sci-fi comedy-adventure Alienated: Grounded At Groom Lake (RandomHouse), the adventure series Dino Knights, the picture book Stomp School (Little Tiger Press), and the YA thriller Keeping The Beat (KCP Loft). He's also the creator and co-writer of the best-selling Princess Ponies series (Bloomsbury).
Previously, Jeff was an SVP at Chorion Ltd. where he ran the Enid Blyton literary estate and acquired new IP, including The Octonauts and the literary estate of horror-master Dennis Wheatley (The Devil Rides Out). He also packaged and produced the interactive DVD movie Choose Your Own Adventure and worked for entertainment companies including The Jim Henson Company and The Roald Dahl Story Company. Jeff studied film and commerce at Queen's University (Canada) and earned his MBA at Harvard Business School.
