Elvis Presley’s love for Christmas was legendary. From extravagant holiday gifts to over-the-top decorations, the King knew how to celebrate. So, it’s appropriate that the TV network that’s made Christmas a huge part of its brand has filmed not one but two different Christmas movies at Presley’s home of Graceland.
Hallmark Channel’s Christmas at Graceland and Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays both offer viewers a peek inside Elvis’s iconic Memphis estate. One also features an appearance from Elvis’s former wife, Priscilla Presley.
‘Christmas at Graceland’ was shot on location and stars Kellie Pickler
Christmas at Graceland aired in 2018. It stars Kellie Pickler as Laurel, a Chicago-based executive who travels to Memphis to close a big deal. While in town, she bumps into an old flame named Clay (Wes Brown), a local music promoter. He reminds her of their days together as...

It’s that time of year when popular Christmas movies are marathoned on television. By now, you are either on your millionth viewing or you’re absolutely sick of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, as the Chevy Chase holiday sequel is a renowned classic that is played every year along with movies like Home Alone, Home Alone 2, A Christmas Story and The Santa Clause. The movie is a family-friendlier entry for the Vacation series that brought John Hughes back to combine his famous Griswold tribe with his penchant for holiday films.
According to People, Christmas Con 2023 has recently jingled its way to Edison, New Jersey. This year, Chevy Chase headlined a reunion with his co-stars from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. The Clark Griswold actor joined his on-screen wife, Beverly D’Angelo, Cousin Eddie actor Randy Quaid and Miriam Flynn, who portrayed Eddie’s wife in the three Vacation films in which they appeared.

The fall TV schedule may be lacking a bit of new content, but the holiday season will be filled with new TV movies. Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, Great American Family and more were able to fully complete their slate of holiday movies before the WGA and SAG strikes, Variety confirms.
The Writers Guild of America strike began on May 2, impacting both TV and film productions, while SAG-AFTRA has been on strike since July 14. However, some of the holiday films set for the 2023 season began production in January.
“Christmas is a year-round business at Hallmark, so we were able to mitigate early in the year understanding that the strikes were unfortunately imminent,” says Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP of programming at Hallmark Media. “We’re grateful to meet all our goals for a full, all-new holiday slate and to bring our viewers the content they love most to celebrate the season.”

“Ho-ho-ho” meets Hoa when Hallmark queen Lacey Chabert — in her 12th holiday film for the network! — ugly-sweaters up as Emily, a newly single editor hoping to spend the season alone at her parents’ Salt Lake City house. Before you can say “bah, humbug,” she’s roped into the cul-de-sac’s required festivities by the homeowner association’s Christmas-obsessed new president (Wes Brown). She even runs into some top-secret guests familiar to Hallmark fans. Here, Chabert tells all about Haul Out the Holly. Wes Brown’s Jared is so quirky. Not the typical hunk with a heart. Lacey Chabert: He did such a wonderful job…. I was surrounded by the funniest people. The biggest challenge on set was to not laugh. I love that Emily, at one point, actually watches Hallmark’s Christmas in Vienna, starring Brennan Elliott. We’ve done nine Hallmark movies together and he’s a dear friend,...

Our final run of fall broadcast premieres sets sail when shows from The CW return.
That includes new series Batwoman and Nancy Drew, the final season premiere of Supernatural, and the tribute to Luke Perry/Fred Andrews on Riverdale, among others.
Because television has an exhaustive universe now, there is a lot more to consider, too!

The new "Twin Peaks" isn't slated to debut on Showtime until 2017, but a flurry of speculation about it happened last week with a tweet from Go For Locations indicating that filming had wrapped on the "first two seasons" of the series.
The episode count for the David Lynch-directed series was always in question, but that tweet suggested we'd be getting even more episodes than originally planned. Said tweet has since been deleted, so we'll have to wait to see how that pans out.

Younes Kaboul has become Sunderland’s fourth signing of the summer, arriving from Spurs for a fee of around £3 million, despite previously turning the club down in acrimonious circumstances.
The 29-year-old has signed a 4-year-deal and looks likely to slot into the Black Cats’ defence alongside fellow new signing Seb Coates or John O’Shea, with Wes Brown seen as a backup choice.
Sunderland had been locked in intense negotiations with Zenit over Nicolas Lombaerts earlier in the week, though various reports claimed the deal was dead after the player failed a medical.

Earlier rumours that Nicolas Lombaerts has failed his Sunderland medical look to be disappointingly true. According to the Sunderland Echo, a fee had been agreed for the Zenit centre back, thought to be in the region of £5,000,000. Personal terms are also believed to have been agreed upon, disproving reports that a wage dispute was the reason for this delay.
The 30 year old has been a prime target for the Black Cats in recent weeks, and would have strengthened an ageing, sparsely populated Sunderland defence. The only centre backs remaining in the senior squad are John O’Shea, Wes Brown, Sebastian Coates and Santiago Vergini – and the latter looks to be on his way out of the club. The Argentinian has not travelled to America for the customary pre-season tour, and was last seen departing an under-21s game in a taxi earlier this week.

For a lot of Sunderland fans, it was probably a surprise to see Santiago Vergini almost pick up the Man Of The Match award for Sunderland in their battling display against Louis Van Gaal’s new Manchester United team on Sunday. Based on some of his performances last season, few could possibly have thought that Vergini could be such a strong asset on the right hand side of John O’Shea and Wes Brown but he is certainly proving his doubters all wrong.
In fact, Vergini, received an impressive 8.5 out of 10 rating in the Daily Mail to eclipse Lee Cattermole and it is fair to see why some sections of support and media gave this rating to the Argentinean defender. The Black Cats suffered their first defeat in three league games at the hands of Steve Bruce’s Hull City side at the Stadium of Light this afternoon.
The game was full of incidents, with the first coming as the managers were still taking their seats. Sunderland manager Gus Poyet must have been cursing his luck as he saw Wes Brown red carded within the opening minutes for an awful last ditch challenge on Shane Long, which left referee Mike Jones with little choice but to flourish the red.
The red card meant Sunderland had to throw all their pre match plans out of the window and in his post match press conference Poyet concluded that the decision had turned the game “upside down”.
Hull didn’t let the opportunity of playing nearly 90 minutes against ten men slip through their grasp and went on to score goals...

Steve Bruce returned to haunt his old team at the Stadium of Light this afternoon as his Hull City side put a stop to the Black Cats recent run of fine form.
The game began in calamitous fashion for Poyet’s men: with only two minutes on the clock Phil Bardsley played a weak back pass in the general direction of the Sunderland goal, allowing Shane Long to pounce and race through one on one. Wes Brown made a desperate lunge to try and halt the striker’s progress but the ageing defender only succeeded in bringing the Irishman down on the edge of the box, giving referee Mike Jones no option but to send him off.
Poyet was forced to reshuffle his pack and decided to take off Borini, handing defender Santiago Vergini an earlier than expected debut. The decision to take...

Sunderland hold a slender advantage over Manchester United in the Capital One Cup semi-final after Ryan Giggs’s own goal and a Fabio Borini penalty gave them victory in the first leg. Red Devils captain Nemanja Vidic brought the visitors level, but the Black Cats inflicted a third successive defeat on David Moyes.
This tie was brought to life after a dull and decidedly cagey opening on 25 minutes when a deflected Giggs effort pinged off the top of the bar. Sunderland certainly showed little respect to the Premier League champions here, but lacked quality to make much of an impression.
Adnan Januzaj had the ball in the net seven minutes before the break for United, rifling home at the second attempt. This was rightly ruled out, however, as the initial effort hit Giggs in an offside position.
