Jason Heppenstall

He trained at the Guildford School of Acting where he played various
roles such as Jesus in 'Godspell', Gabrielle in 'Kiss of the Spider
Woman' and Rusty Charlie in 'Guys and Dolls' at the Yvonne Arnaud
Theatre in Guildford. Professional credits include 'The Hiss and Boo
Variety Show' with Danny La Rue and gala performances of 'Sondheim
Tonight' at the Barbican Theatre and 'Anyone can Whistle' at the Savoy
Theatre. Jason has spent the last two Christmas's in Belfast, firstly
to play Prince Di Capital in 'Sleeping Beauty' at the Civic Arts
Theatre and then to play Hansel in 'Hansel and Gretel' at the Lyric
Theatre. Jason made his film debut in 1999 playing David in 'Mum, it's
about David' and earlier this year (2000) was the lead in BBC Crimewatch UK (1984)
in the Bognor Regis segments. He also had a brief appearance in the
first episode of The Last Detective (2003) but his acting career seems to be pushed aside
now as he teaches performing arts at Northbrook College.
