- Worked on his first feature length film, a low budget two hour action movie, for more than three years in high school. He finished it before starting college.
- Formed TMU Pictures LLC in 2002.
- Directed the first official High Definition short film, "Lovers", at Columbia College Chicago in November 2005. Filming locations included the North Michigan Ave. bridge, the Kizoku Sushi Restaurant, Lower Wacker Dr., and Millennium Park.
- Graduated from Columbia College Chicago in May 2006 with a BA in Film/Video and a directing concentration.
- Was selected by Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett as 1 of the final 50 top directors out of 12,000 filmmakers for the premiere episode of Fox's On the Lot (2007).
- Awarded the Civilian Legion of Merit Medal by the Michigan Air National Guard in 2007, for Directing a Commercial featuring the 110th Fighter Wing of A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthogs" in live fire exercises in Grayling, MI and Battle Creek, MI. Directed a second ANG Commercial for the 127th Fighter Wing in 2012.
