Adam Wylie, a former child star who appeared on “Gilmore Girls” and “Picket Fences,” was arrested Oct. 20 for shoplifting from a Target in Burbank, California.
On Thursday, a Burbank Police spokesman confirmed that, per the department’s arrest report, Wylie failed to pay for merchandise while at Target’s self-checkout kiosk, including clothing and beauty products. After leaving the store, he was apprehended by store security.
“Once outside the store, the suspect was approached by Target Loss Prevention Officers and escorted back inside. The stolen and recovered items totaled $108.05,” public information officer Stephen Turner told TheWrap via email.
“Burbank Pd issued a citation to the suspect for petty theft, and he was released in the field. The suspect is identified as 39-year-old Adam Augustus Wylie, a resident of Valley Village.”

Comedian Jeff Dye has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
The 40-year-old was taken into custody by the Burbank Police Department at 9:56 a.m. on Sunday (October 8). He was released from Burbank Jail without bail at 1:04 p.m.
Sgt. Stephen Turner of the Burbank Police Department stated that after authorities responded to a traffic collision at around 9:30 a.m., “Witnesses relayed the driver of a white Tesla collided with a tree and the driver fled on foot. Based on witness description, the driver was located just a few blocks east of the scene and detained pending [an] investigation,” People reports.

IATSE Grips Local 80 closed its offices in Burbank today after receiving a threatening letter. “Local 80 received a letter threatening harm to our employees,” the local said in an email to members. “Burbank police have been notified, and an officer came to assess.
“They are currently evaluating the situation for credibility. We have evacuated our building out of an abundance of caution. The Local is closed until further notice.”
Burbank Police Sgt. Stephen Turner said in a statement that “Burbank Pd is aware and detectives are investigating the credibility and validity of the threat. No arrests have been made. IATSE, in an abundance of caution, have closed their offices.”
The identity of the letter-writer is known by the police.
Dejon Ellis, Jr., the local’s business manager, could not be reached for comment, but he told Variety that the sender appeared to be distraught over the ongoing writer and actor strikes.
