It’s been a few years since Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter first announced The Abandons, but the Western series has finally started shooting. Netflix announced the start of production of the first season of The Abandons in Calgary, with an official cast photo seen above.
The official logline for The Abandons reads: “As a group of diverse, outlier families pursue their Manifest Destiny in 1850s Oregon, a corrupt force of wealth and power, coveting their land, tries to force them out. These abandoned souls, the kind of lost souls living on the fringe of society, unite their tribes to form a family and fight back. In this bloody process, ‘justice’ is stretched beyond the boundaries of the law. The Abandons will explore that fine line between survival and law, the consequences of violence, and the corrosive power of secrets, as this family fights to keep their land.“

Today, Netflix announced the start of production in Calgary on Season 1 of The Abandons, a pulse-pounding action drama set in the West by Kurt Sutter via his SutterInk banner.
“I am fascinated by the metamorphosis of good into evil. What must transpire to drive the morally sound to become the dangerously corrupt,” said Sutter. “The Abandons explores those complex compromises through the most powerful human instinct — the love and protection of mothers.”

Just when Barry thought he had Zoom beat, Zoom turned the tables once again. Next week, when Harrison Wells gets kidnapped by Griffin Grey, Barry has to save him sans Speed Force, which is much easier said than done. However, thankfully, it looks like he's going to get a big assist from Jesse Quick. Zoom scored a major victory over the Fastest Man Alive in tonight's episode of The Flash, and in this first look at what's to come in next week's instalment, we see that Barry Allen is forced to go into battle with Griffin Grey minus his powers. That's going to be quite the challenge, and based on what we see here, not one the hero will end up doing particularly well with! Thoughts on tonight's episode? A meta-human with super strength named Griffin Grey (guest star Haig Sutherland) mistakes Harry (Tom Cavanagh) for Earth-1 Harrison Wells and kidnaps him, demanding that Wells cure him from his current condition. Realizing another brilliant Wells could help track Griffin’s location, Barry asks Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) to help. Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) corners Joe (Jesse L. The CW has released the official descriptions for the episodes of Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow which will air during the week beginning April 25th.
In Arrow, it sounds like some big twists could be on the way in regards to the fate of the Black Canary. While there’s a very, Very good chance that Laurel is indeed dead, it sounds like someone else may have already taken up the mantle. Has Sara returned, or could we be looking at an Earth-2 doppelgänger?
Oliver (Stephen Amell) and the team struggle to come to terms with Laurel’s (Katie Cassidy) death, especially Diggle (David Ramsey) who is overwhelmed with guilt for choosing to believe Andy (guest star Eugene Byrd) had changed. Meanwhile, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) refuses to believe his daughter is really gone and asks Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) to help bring her back. A recent Black...

It's tough to find a bad episode of The Flash, but the April 26th episode definitely sounds like filler! That's not necessarily the end of the world of course, especially as it sounds like Wally West is about to come one step closer to discovering that his "brother" Barry is hiding a pretty major secret. Meanwhile, things are about to get even more interesting for the Legends of Tomorrow as they end up once again taking aim at Vandal Savage in a mission which sounds like it could stop him once and for all... Warning: the following contains spoilers for tonight’s episode of Fringe, and there was a pretty big reveal. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should probably wait to read this!
As William Bell – and T.S. Elliot – used to say, “only those that risk going too far can possibly know how far they will go”. Well, it seems as though tonight we discovered what line Walternate refuses to cross: he will not experiment on children. What I found most fascinating about this is that we’ve seen the lengths to which he will go to save his world, so it absolutely shocked me to find where he draws his moral line in the sand. This also says a fair bit about Walter, and how he and Walternate do actually have some fundamental differences, beyond the obvious superficial ones. In a comparison between the two, on this matter, Walternate actually comes out far superior,...

This review may contain spoilers. Whether or not it was obvious, "Aftermath" was about keeping or maintaining control; Rush (Robert Carlyle) wrestled with maintaining control of the ship, Young (Louis Ferreira) dealt with keeping emotional control, and Telford (Lou Diamond Phillips) and Camile (Ming-Na) became closer to taking control away from Young. Perhaps the best part of the episode was the smaller focus on Sgt. Riley (Haig Sutherland) and the poise he managed to maintain in his last moments. Rush.s issues were not new. It was quickly revealed to the audience that he had more knowledge of Destiny.s powers than he let on. In a tirade, he repeated the same complaint about Young not being the right person to control Destiny and its operations. However, the fact that he was talking ...
