David Tennant features as Lord Tony Baddingham, controller of Corinium Television and Rupert’s single-mindedly ambitious and egotistical adversary. Aidan Turner is journalist and TV presenter Declan O’Hara, who becomes caught in the crossfire of the long-simmering feud between Rupert and Tony.

AMC Networks has unveiled a slew of renewals across its streaming services.
Kin, Bloodlands, My Life Is Murder, Creepshow and Slasher have all been picked up for additional seasons.
Slasher, which airs on Shudder, has also set Will & Grace’s Eric McCormack as lead on its latest installment, Slasher: Ripper.
The series, which has been renewed for its fifth season, is heading back in time to the late 19th century — there’s a killer stalking the mean streets, but instead of targeting the poor and downtrodden like Jack the Ripper, The Widow is meting out justice against the rich and powerful. The only person standing in the way of this killer is the newly promoted detective, Kenneth Rijkers, whose ironclad belief in justice may wind up being yet another victim.

We get inside the mind of Strike Back: Revolution's Wyatt in this interview with actor Daniel MacPherson.

Having gone through hell in the previous season, Revolution opens with suspended teammates Gracie (Alin Sumarwata), Mac (Warren Brown) and Wyatt (Daniel MacPherson) brought back into the action when a Russian nuclear device goes missing. Needless to say, there will be no shortage of shootouts, fistfights and probably some gratuitous nudity too.
It took MacPherson’s Wyatt a little while to adjust to working with a team last year, but the actor’s chemistry with his castmates helped make for a smooth transition between the new team and previous lead characters Scott (Sullivan Stapleton) and Stonebridge (Philip Winchester). We spoke to the star about the latest season, how the character of...

Just like that, we're back in Storybrooke for some assistance from the old characters.
This show likes to beat around the bush for weeks on end and drag every little development out, but with Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 21 serving as the first half of the series finale, the action moved along at a brisker pace and was much more interesting.
I never really went into how great it is to have Wish Realm Rumple go to war with the Storybrooke iteration of the character, but it's a perfect way for the series to go out.
Rumple has struggled with his violent tendencies since this hit series debuted, and "Homecoming" proved that there was a good side of the former villain.

If you watch Once Upon a Time online, you will already be well aware at Rumple's track record for deception.

They join Sean Maguire, Victoria Smurfit, JoAnna Garcia-Swisher, Robbie Kay, Lee Arenberg, Keegan Tracy, Tony Amendola, Jared Gilmore and Beverley Elliot who were previously confirmed to be making comebacks.
The series famously rebooted for Once Upon a Time Season 7, and the action shifted from Storybrooke to Hyperion Heights, and that meant some of the original actors departed.

But the big revamp failed to reverse the show's downward trajectory. On Friday nights, the series has slumped over 40 percent to 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49.
ABC swung the ax on the series earlier this year after seven seasons.

Cruella will see Oscar winner Emma Stone play the dalmatian-coat-coveting Disney villainess, Cruella de Vil.
Disney continues to power through a drive to produce live-action versions of the myriad classic animated features it's amassed over the better part of the last century. Recent examples include 2014’s Malificent, 2015’s Cinderella, 2016’s The Jungle Book and 2017's Beauty and the Beast, as well as imminent offerings in Aladdin and The Lion King, amongst others. However, one such offering, Cruella, is a prequel of sorts to the traditional story of 101 Dalmatians, which will see Emma Stone playing the ruthlessly avaricious Cruella de Vil.
Cruella will be directed by Craig Gillespie, who recently led star Margot Robbie to Oscar-nominated glory in the biopic, I, Tonya. He works off a screenplay recently rewritten by Jez Butterworth (Spectre).
In the latest Cruella news, Disney has finally dropped a release date.

Dahhhling, would you even believe Emma Stone as someone cruel enough to steal puppies for fur coats?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Emma Stone is in early negotiations to play the "101 Dalmations" villainess in a live-action origin story called "Cruella." They say Kelly Marcel is now writing the script (back in 2013, "Cinderella" writer Aline Brosh McKenna was the one working on "Cruella"). And even though there is no director at this point, THR said the project is a priority for Disney which hopes to shoot the film later this year.
Yes, Hollywood has completely run out of original ideas. Let's just get that out of the way. Now, what do you think of Emma Stone as the latest potential Cruella?

Disney Pictures is reportedly fast-tracking "Cruella," a live-action feature about the villainess from the "101 Dalmatians" films Cruella de Vil.
"Saving Mr. Banks" and "Fifty Shades of Grey" screenwriter Kelly Marcel is attached to write the project which is expected to be one of the four untitled Disney live-action fantasy films that were announced this week as part of their upcoming film slate through to the year 2020.
"Togetherness" co-creator Steve Zissis is also working on the story for the film. Marcel and Zissis take over from Aline Brosh McKenna who was said to have done some work on an early version of the script.
De Vil first appeared in Dodie Smith's 1956 novel which served as the basis for the 1961 animated movie. Also: details on Dracula's prop auction, XLrator Media's 24 Hour Rental, a video tribute to Friday the 13th Part VIII called "Voorhees Stomp", a new poster for The Hexecutioners, and release details for Krampus: The Reckoning.

And though she tries to be good, no matter where she goes, a trail of chaos and terror seems to follow. It’s only when June is sent to live with a new couple, Lily (Pratt) and Dave (Van Dien), that it looks as if things might finally work out. Except this innocent child with the face of an angel is possessed by an ancient, malevolent entity that has hijacked her soul.

★☆☆☆☆ Of all its numerous misdemeanours, the most heinous that Dominic Brunt's vile Bait (2014) commits is its attempt to convince you that it isn't the grim, misogynistic horror that it ultimately turns out to be. Its two female protagonists, Bex (Victoria Smurfit) and Dawn (Joanne Mitchell), begin the film as feisty, independently-minded individuals, running their own market stall selling organic tea and cakes and attempting to secure a loan to expand into a shop. They're well-drawn and smartly acted at first, with realistic lives and realistic aspirations that don't involve men and it initially feels refreshing to see a home-grown genre flick that seems rooted in the lives of women.
Sadly, the idea that they might be resourceful and capable enough to handle whatever a horror film might throw at them soon dissipates when they meet Jeremy (Jonathan Slinger), a sneering loan shark who begins extorting them, threatening them with...

A woman in her bra covered in blood? Tick. But director Dominic Brunt’s vicious thriller is more convincing than you’d expect, with characters of genuine depth
This impressively vicious thriller directed by Dominic Brunt (who played Paddy Kirk in Emmerdale for years) looks at first like straight-up exploitation nonsense with its opening shots of a bra-clad Joanne Mitchell covered in blood screaming in a bathroom as Victoria Smurfit (also gore-smeared and in her undies) climbs the stairs with a knife. But as the narrative rolls back to show how we got to this place, Bait reveals itself to be smarter and subtler than the usual genre workout. The two women, it turns out, are best friends who run a cake stall in a market and get suckered into making a deal with Jonathan Slinger’s exquisitely evil loan shark. You know he has to be vile early on...

'About a Boy,' with Hugh Grant and Baby 'About a Boy' movie review: Some men should remain islands On the surface, Chris and Paul Weitz's 2002 movie About a Boy has a profound, affecting premise. No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee. With the above statement, seventeenth-century English poet John Donne reached beyond the apparent isolation of each individual by affirming the invisible oneness that encompasses all of humankind – and, why not, all living creatures.
