Christie Price was born in Virginia, but raised in Conyers, Georgia.
When she was 16, her father Rudolph Price, a pilot for Delta Airlines,
died when his plane crashed in Dallas, Texas. A movie was made about this
event, titled "Fire and Rain" (1989). During her college years,
Christie played bass guitar in the band "Jive Socket", that recorded 3
albums and opened for such acts as "Widespread Panic", "Drivin n'
Cryin", "Pylon" and "Concrete Blonde". Upon graduation in 1992, she
moved to Boulder, Co. after being hired by MCA recording artist, Nina
Storey, to record bass for two upcoming albums and tour with her band
through out the Mid West. In 1996, Christie moved back to Los Angeles
and began producing commercials, music video and short films.
She resides in the Hollywood Hills area.
