Howard Stern said this week he quickly accepted Jerry Seinfeld’s apology for saying Stern has been “outflanked” by other comedians.
“I read it, and I went to my wife, ‘Oh, that’s weird,’ because Jerry is a personal friend of ours,” Stern said on Monday’s The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM.
Last week, Seinfeld made headlines for saying on the Fly on the Wall podcast that Stern, a self-proclaimed “king of all media,” had been “outflanked” by other comedy podcasts. He also said that hosts Dana Carvey and David Spade “are better than him now.” The Unfrosted director later apologized for the comments, saying “I feel really bad for what I said.”
On Monday, Stern said he first learned of the comments when he saw a headline that said Seinfeld alleged Stern was an interviewer, not a comedian.

An emotional Stern made the announcement today on his SiriusXM radio show. Stern said Cirella’s “heart gave out” Tuesday morning during a procedure as he was being treated for the lymphoma.
“I just have been so sad and so angry,” Stern continued. “He didn’t take care of himself.”

Howard Stern is once again under attack by former celebrity friends. This time, it’s Donald Trump, who today said the self-described “King of All Media” was a “broken weirdo” who “went woke.”
The Trump comments follow an earlier attack by comedian and talk show host Bill Maher, who made comments about Stern’s second marriage to Beth Ostrosky. Stern responded by breaking ties with Maher.
Today on Truth Social, Trump – a former frequent guest on Stern’s radio show – derided him.
“The real Howard Stern is a weak, pathetic, and disloyal guy, who lost his friends and Much of his audience,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“I did his show many times in the good old days, and then he went woke, and nobody cares about him any longer,” he said. Stern’s “influence is gone, and without that, he’s got Nothing,” Trump said, adding, “Just a broken weirdo,...

Howard Stern and Bill Maher are “no longer friends,” according to Stern. The SiriusXM radio host told listeners (via Entertainment Weekly) that Maher made a “sexist” comment involving Stern’s first wife and “was actually dumping on me” during an episode of Maher’s “Club Random” podcast.
“He took a big shot at me,” Stern said. “Basically, he says, ‘Howard Stern always gets on the radio and says he loves his wife.’ I’ve never been criticized for this. He goes, ‘Haven’t we had enough of that? What about his first wife? I feel really bad for her.'”
Stern was married to Alison Berns from 1978 until 2008. He got remarried in 2008 to Beth Ostrosky Stern.
“What a sexist thing to say. What a convoluted, nutty thing to say,” Stern said. “He says it must hurt [Berns’] feelings that I’m in love with a different woman. It’s assuming that...

Howard Stern’s friendship with Bill Maher is seemingly over.
On Tuesday’s “The Howard Stern Show” on SiriusXM, the host called out the “Real Time” host over comments he made about his marriage.

It all started on a recent episode of Maher’s podcast “Club Random”, in which he questioned Stern openly expressing his love for his second wife of almost 15 years, Beth Stern.
“How does this gushing about the second wife — how does that make the first wife feel? Could we just not gush about the person while the other person can still hear it?” Maher said.
Stern’s first marriage was to Alison Berns, with whom he tied the knot in 1978. They divorced in 2001.
On his own show, Stern did not appreciate Maher’s comments at all, sharing his unfiltered response.

It appears that Howard Stern and Bill Maher are no longer on speaking terms after the latter criticized the iconic radio personality for gushing about his wife on air. The controversy stems from an episode of Maher’s Club Random podcast, where he slammed Stern for outwardly expressing his love and admiration for his wife of almost 15 years, Beth Stern. Maher said that Stern’s comments were unfair to his first wife, Alison Berns. “How does this gushing about the second wife — how does that make the first wife feel? Could we just not gush about the person while the other person can still hear it?” the Real Time with Bill Maher host said (per People). Stern addressed the comments on Tuesday’s (September 19) episode of The Howard Stern Show, saying that Maher “ought to shut his mouth.” “What a sexist thing to say. Like, what a convoluted, nutty thing to say,...

Howard Stern’s fear of Covid has begun to spark arguments between him and his wife, Beth Ostrosky.
Last week, the radio host candidly recalled a recent fight they had about his concern over a new Covid strain on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show”. He admitted he’s been “paranoid” and “neurotic” about the virus.
When a caller asked if Stern is concerned about the risk that comes with returning to the studio amid the late summer’s surge of cases, he confessed he’s “going crazy with this.”
“My wife yelled at me last night. We got into a fight.”
“You know how paranoid I am about getting Covid. I haven’t gotten it, and I’m pretty safe, and I really don’t want to get it,” he said. “Everyone goes, ‘Don’t worry, it’s just a cold for me.’ It’ll probably be way worse.

For the last eight years, those who weren’t watching football on Super Bowl Sunday had the heartwarming option of instead seeing kittens roll around on turf for three hours. That tradition, Hallmark’s annual Kitten Bowl, will not continue this year, and Gac Media is looking into acquiring the program, Variety has learned exclusively.

Over 150,000 have signed a Change.org petition started by Lisa Vanderpump and her Vanderpump Dog Foundation to ban global wet markets and illegal slaughterhouses immediately.
Lisa Vanderpump has joined forces with Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings and Republican Rep. Vern Buchanan to lobby Pres. Donald Trump, who she knows from her work as a judge on Miss Universe. The petition is expected to hit over 200,000 signatures this week.
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation says they have been warning about the possible dangers of wet markets for years, and according to their petition, "[they’ve] seen first-hand the brutality and horrific practices that happen in many of these wet markets and slaughterhouses. Every one of us possesses a characteristic, talent, or trait that makes us stand out from the crowd. Some can dance; others sing. Some can paint or draw like no one’s business. Over 100,000 have signed a Change.org petition started by Lisa Vanderpump, restauranteur and reality TV star, and Congressman Alcee Hastings (D-fl 20), to end the cruel Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China.
Lisa started the petition after her work with the Vanderpump Dog Foundation opened her eyes to the cruelty of the festival. The Yulin Dog Meat Festival, which happens every year on the summer solstice, is a particularly gruesome display of the dog meat trade. This festival, where some 10,000 dogs are slaughtered and served up as meals, is often wrongly assumed to be an ancient Chinese tradition. In fact, the festival only dates back to 2009 when it was launched in the city in China’s southwest to celebrate the summer solstice.
According to the petition, Lisa’s Vanderpump Dog Foundation “is on the ground 365 days a year with our two shelters and almost 500 dogs saved from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival.

Last year, the Super Bowl drew 103.4 million total viewers, and while that was the lowest total for the NFL championship game/American cultural event in nine years, it also was the 10th-most-watched program in American TV history. You can expect that number to rise this year with CBS’ broadcast from Atlanta featuring two major-market teams in the Los Angeles Rams and the love-them-or-hate-them-but-always-watch-them New England Patriots, and of course the ads in between that keep the water cooler bubbling for days.
Still, it means more than 200 million Americans won’t watch the game, which means they’ll need something else to look at. Broadcasters and streamers not named CBS or CBS All Access will have you covered again this year on that front, setting up counterprogramming with puppies, cats and marathons galore.

Her name is Sunny because there is only sunshine ahead for her, but there were plenty of dark clouds before.
She is one of the dozens of feline football lovers competing in this year’s Kitten Bowl V on the Hallmark Channel.
It wasn’t always sports stardom and cuddles for this lucky black kitten. Before getting drafted for the big game, she was a feral kitten in Florida caught up in the terrifying flood waters of Hurricane Irma.
In distress, Sunny tried to run away from the dangerous weather and got her back leg stuck in a fence in the process.

Colbert was supposed to have C.K. on his show the week the New York Times published its report on his sexual misconduct, and the 53-year-old comedian was planning on using an...
