USC graduate and hot shot writer of Hollywood spec scripts. Shent Nee (born Christopher Thomas Nee) was signed to a production deal at Ted Demme's company Spanky Pictures in the late 1990's for his script "Sunburnt Angels."
The script was highly sought after by many companies before signing with Demme's company. After Demme's sudden death the project went into turn around and Shent has been working on several other scripts and for hire writing projects since then.
Known for his edgy dialogue and modern day crime noir influences Shent is an uncompromising writer/director who believes in the "auteur theory" which states that the writer/director is the author of a movie.
