Tim Murton

Tim Murton grew up in the UK with a passion for art. Before emigrating
to Canada in 1974 Tim earned a BSc in construction technology at
Portsmouth Polytechnic. He initially worked as a construction estimator
in the mining engineering field. At 29 he enrolled at the Ontario
College of Art to pursue a financially challenging, but immensely
rewarding artistic career. During his third and final year he studied
in Florence Italy and then independently in Paris France. Returning to
Canada Tim started a new career initially painting sets for TV
commercials, then as a scenic artist in Toronto's booming film
industry. Tim rose through the ranks and eventually accumulated credits

In 2004 Tim retired from the film business to pursue his life long ambition to be an independent fine artist.
Tim does not have any political or religious affiliations, but simply believes that our purpose in life is evolution.........making the world a better place for the next generation.
