Described to be in the surrealist Hollyweird style of John Waters and David Lynch, the pic follows Samantha (Angela Landis), an L.A. actress/dogwalker whose profession suddenly unravels. Samantha learns her roommate (Robyn Cohen) is shot by a crazed dognapper. Even worse, Samantha must recover a Maltese that’s been dognapped by a complex, lunatic dominatrix (Bai…...

Directed by Brian Feeney
Written Brian Feeney and John Ross
Starring Alisha Seaton, Jeannie Bolet, Melissa Lee, and Judy Clement
After the brutal and somewhat otherworldly death of Rachel (Angela Landis) - a woman already long thought dead – it becomes clear that there are some things her ex-lover April (Alisha Seaton) has never comes to term with.
For instance, she’s never revealed to anyone that she is raising Rachel’s daughter Sarah (Melissa Lee) as her own. Rachel’s posthumous return begins to wreak havoc as Sarah begins having visions of her. And that’s just the least of April’s problems because they’ve now fallen under the radar of a crazy scientist named Anne Cassavettes (Judy Clement) who needs Sarah’s extrasensory powers and will do anything to get her.
There are so many elements to be tinkered with in the world of the supernatural horror genre.

We've been following the progress of Brian Feeney's supernatural slasher flick The Echo Game pretty damned closely around here. Why? Because we strive to deliver badassery to you on a daily basis! Sometimes, though, we need a bit of assistance, and help came when Feeney himself dropped us a line to let us know about a special behind-the-scene video that he has just put up. Dig it!
The film stars Alisha Seaton and Jeannie Bolet as April Reilly and Casey Lin, “a young lesbian couple who must protect their daughter (Melissa Lee) from rogue scientist Anne Cassavettes (Judy Clement), who’s on a murderous rampage to steal the girl’s psychic powers for herself,” Feeney says. “It’s low-budget but looks great (Jeffrey Waldron served as director of photography), and we got some great gore out of it, too.” Liliya Czarina, Angela Landis, Laurel Vail, and Robert McAtee round out the principal cast.

This morning we received yet more shots from Brian Feeney’s upcoming directorial debut, The Echo Game, this batch focusing on some of the effects behind the film, and producer Asa Shumska-Tait talked with us a bit about their approach to the film’s effects.
First, however, although we’ve been given only light details on the plot for The Echo Game, we now have a full, detailed synopsis, so dig!
The Echo Game revolves around April Reilly (Alisha Seaton), who receives a letter from her former lover Rachel (Angela Landis), who was believed to have died ten years earlier. The letter and its urgent warning spark a chain of events that sends April’s life spiraling out of control.
For the past ten years, April has raised Rachel’s biological daughter Sarah (Melissa Lee) as her own. No one knows that Sarah is Rachel’s daughter… not even Sarah.
