- Tom Griffith was born Thomas Boland Griffith in Baltimore, Maryland in 1945. Griff became a graphic artist and sometimes local voice over talent. When he was 12 he would gather on the street corners and sing DOO-WOP songs with his friends. This led to him playing in several early rock bands, fronting as the vocalist, playing tenor sax, keyboards and guitar along the way. Griff met and developed a friendship with the soon-to-be writer, producer and director of The Alien Factor, Don Dohler. They entered into a partnership to develop Cinemagic Magazine. Dohler offered Griff the part of Sheriff Jack Cinder and several films followed. Griff is working on a new screenplay for a short film with his writing partner. They are presently in the midst of re-writes, and exploring the idea of going to a feature rather than a short.- IMDb Mini Biography By: The Biographer
