Unlike House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Daredevil and Bloodline, Netflix isn’t making much of a promotional push for its upcoming series Between. Perhaps that’s because it’s a co-production with Canadian networks, which means it’ll be un-bingeable, diverging from the Netflix model by launching on May 21 and releasing a new episode weekly. Let the impatient viewer rioting commence.
A survivalist thriller set in the small town of Pretty Lake, Between kicks off as a mysterious plague kills off every resident of the town over the age of 21. The government quarantines the town, leading to a power vaccum and struggle for dominance as the teens go to war with one another in order to stay alive. Think Lord of the Flies with moody, disinterested youth.

Here on FEARnet, our goal is not to make sure that you never step foot in the water again. We promise. But when scary monster fish are caught in the sea, we are simply compelled to report about it. It's our job. And if you're scarred for life as a result, we deeply apologize. Sincerely.
Over in Jamaica, two local fishermen made a most bizarre-looking catch last Sunday night, hooking and reeling in a 900-pound behemoth that looked like nothing they had ever found on the end of their poles before. So massive and unusual looking was the fish that the men actually became convinced that it was not even of this world. "At first I thought it was an alien, and I was somewhat frightened," said one of the men.

If you’re currently above the age of 28 or below the age of 22, the word “Animorphs” may mean nothing to you. If, however, you were in middle school in the mid- to late ’90s, chances are that you’ve read at least one book in the Animorphs series — a bestselling saga, published from 1996 to 2001, about five normal kids who fight body-snatching aliens by turning into animals.
I know, I know — that premise has “cheese potential” written all over it. Indeed, when Nickelodeon got its slimy hands on Animorphs in 1998, the resulting series was so crazy godawful that it introduced a...

According to TVLine, another person with a connection to the Wesen will be appearing on Grimm later this season.
Jason Gedrick has signed on to play Craig Wendell, a murderer currently on his last days on death row. His defense at his trial was that the act was self-defense against the two monsters that attacked him, something that didn't hold water in court and made the man look mentally disturbed in addition to dangerously violent. However, now that Hank has been filled in about the Wesen and everything that Nick's been going through as a Grimm, it might not be too late to save the man from an untimely (and unjust) execution.
But can the two detectives find a loophole to let him go free without having to bring talk of monsters and shape-shifting into it?
In addition to Gedrick's upcoming role, which will feature in an episode this fall,...
