Whether you asked for it or not, Prime Video’s epic fantasy series based on The Lord of the Rings appendices by legendary author J.R.R. Tolkien is back with its much-anticipated second season. Created by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, The Rings of Power had a pretty turbulent first season even with its massive budget of $1 billion but still it was one of the most watched shows on Prime Video, so maybe this season the creators of the series will change hearts and minds of frustrated fans.
In Season 2, Sauron has officially returned and after being cast out by Galadriel and without any allies he must rebuild his power through his cunning to oversee the creation of the Rings of Power. His ultimate plan with the rings is to bend the people of Middle-earth to his will. While the Dark Lord is rising our heroes are also getting ready for his eventual attack.

This article contains spoilers for Interview with the Vampire episode 3 and Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles novels.
Interview with the Vampire episode 3 “No Pain” codifies the Parisian theatrical troupe with signs of sanguinarian cult devotion, and promises of dire consequences. The closing sequence features the ceremony inducting Claudia (Delainey Hayles) into the repertory players of Théâtre des Vampires. It is a giddy moment, for cast members only, and a celebration of the remorselessly debauched comedy made of the lesser creatures in the audience on a nightly basis.
However, there is a serious side to the randomly violent performance arts which is more about occult knowledge than studying acting methods for realistic portrayals. The induction ritual peaks as lead actor Santiago (Ben Daniels) fixes Claudia with the highest drama of theatrical delivery to impart The Great Laws of the Vampire.

We’ve been waiting for you! Three’s more than company as Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Claudia (Delainey Hayles) fall in deeper with new Parisian vampire pal Armand (Assad Zaman). As the show’s rabid and so-devoted fans already know, this is the launch of the Théâtre des Vampires arc and, in a way, the beginning of the end for certain characters from Anne Rice‘s classic tale of homoerotic hemoglobin addicts. Larry Horricks / AMC This is also the hour that unleashes the great Ben Daniels, who devours the scenery as Santiago. The coven’s leading man fancies the art of pretending to be a bloodsucker on stage so the troupe can drain a victim live in front of audiences who think it’s all an act. He may also ...

The second episode of “Interview with the Vampire” Season 2 introduced what fans of the Vampire Chronicles have been waiting for when Louis and Claudia finally crossed the threshold of the iconic Theatres des Vampires. The episode, titled “Do You Know What It Means To Be Loved By Death,” began with Louis and Armand co-narrating the memory of their first-ever meeting on the streets of postwar Paris and ended with Louis and Claudia’s quest to find more vampires at an end as not one, not two, but fourteen new vampires enter stage right and take their places in “Interview’s” story.
But who are all of these vampires? Where did they come from? And why are they using projection technology to trick live audiences into watching them drink people for real? These are many questions and in true “Interview” fashion, only some of them have answers.
What is the Theatres des Vampires?...

AMC appears to be "all in" when it comes to bringing Anne Rice's work to television. Could Interview with the Vampire be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.

Review: Timed perfectly to Halloween, the 2022 debut of Interview with the Vampire beautifully updated the first volume in Anne Rice’s vast series for a new generation. With a young cast and a more overt take on the homoerotic elements of the novels, AMC’s series was designed to kickstart a cinematic universe of adaptations from the author’s works. While Mayfair Witches did not work as well, the second season of Interview with the Vampire is a welcome return to the stories of Louis, Claudia, Lestat, and more. Billed as “Part II,” the second season chronicles the back half of Rice’s novel.

“Guilty, or not guilty?” That is the question on Santiago’s (Ben Daniels) lips in the newest Interview With the Vampire Season 2 teaser. The video references an infamous trial scene near the end Anne Rice‘s novel of the same name, as hinted by Santiago’s judge’s wig. In the new teaser, Santiago, the leading vampire thespian of the Théâtres des Vampires in Paris, recites the “Laws of the Vampire,” one of the most important being that no vampire can kill another. That doesn’t bode well for Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Claudia (Delainey Hayles), who attempted to kill Lestat (Sam Reid) in the Season 1 finale. The vampires of the Parisian coven knew Lestat long before he arrived in New Orleans. As revealed in the first Interview With the Vampire Season 2 trailer, Lestat is a founding member of their theater. And he’s been presumed dead by Louis and...

Interview with the Vampire Season 2: Cast, plot, premiere date, and everything else there is to know
The timeless love story at the heart of AMC’s Interview with the Vampire won many fans in 2022, but with increased delays for the second season, a lot has changed during the extended hiatus.
It’s rare for a vampire drama to offer more than it borrows from the genre, but the show managed to break through armed with many of Anne Rice’s unique storylines from the novel series.
At the time of its launch, AMC was losing The Walking Dead as the long-running zombie drama signed off after 11 seasons, so new franchises were in demand by the cabler.
Interview with the Vampire broke through with critical acclaim. The show garnered plenty of praise and solid ratings, resulting in a very early renewal for Season 2.
Now that new episodes are approaching, we must review everything we know about the upcoming season.
Get all the details below.

The latest Interview with the Vampire season 2 trailers feature Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, tyrannically dictating the story of his undeath to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). The ancient vampire won’t lighten the historical weight buried in cryptic footnotes covered in blood. The contemporary talks are set in Prague, but recent clips extend grand theatrical overtures.
Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire season 2 will open with a new Parisian location, and fresh blood. AMC’s playbill says the part of Claudia has been recast with Delainey Hayles. Roxane Duran joins as the dollmaker Madeleine, a tragic figure with worse pains to suffer. The latest trailer also features a new, albeit secondary, antagonist, Santiago (Ben Daniels).
