- Born in Burbank, California on February 27, 1958 to parents Clifford C. Coleman and Karin Clarke. Clarke was born into a third generation family of film makers. His first appearance in front of the camera was at the age of 11 on Nichols with James Garner. At the age of 18, Steve McQueen gave Clarke a role in 'Tom Horn'. 'Tom Horn' was the last movie that Steve McQueen starred in and made. Clarke has continued his stunt and acting career for many decades, with over a hundred television shows, commercials and feature films under his belt. Clarke's Father: Clifford C. Coleman and Grandfather: Charles 'Bud' Coleman were a great influence on him. Grandpa, Charles Coleman made many classic films dating back to the 1920s, his career extended into the 1980s. Grandpa Charles worked with all the greats like Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, Paul Newman, Elizabeth Taylor, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, Gloria Swanson, just to name a few. Clarke's father, Clifford Coleman worked on many memorable movies such as The Wild Bunch and Animal House.
Clarke has been an avid Motocross and Desert Racer since he was a child and well into his adulthood. In 1980 he won the AMA National Motocross Championship. In the 1990s with Bud Ekins as his mentor & sponsor, he won the Vintage Motorcycle International Championship. Motorcycles, Martial Arts and Surfing were his stunt specialties.

- Grew up in a movie and motorcycle racing family. His father, Clifford Coleman, brought Clarke to the races with him at a very young age. Clarke was surrounded by the likes of James Garner, Steve McQueen, Bud Ekins & Von Dutch (aka Kenny Howard). This enriched childhood gave Clarke his inspiration to become a motorcycle racer, stuntman and actor. Steve McQueen got Clarke is SAG card. Steve got Clarke and Steve's son, Chad McQueen. their 'A' Cards (aka Screen Actor's Guild Cards) together on the movie "Tom Horn". The last movie Steve did.
