The Young And The Restless spoilers and updates indicate that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) realized her deep love for being Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) mother during his kidnapping. Even though not biologically related, Summer’s bond with Harrison is unbreakable.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Baby Of Her Own?
Considering this, Summer may have a desire to become pregnant and experience the entirety of motherhood in the future. As she did not have the opportunity to raise Harrison during his infancy, she might want a child of her own someday.
While Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) faced some medical issues that prevented him from being Abby Newman-Abbott’s (Melissa Ordway) sperm donor in her surrogacy storyline, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) stepped up to fulfill the role.
This choice led to significant conflicts since Devon formed a bond with Dominic Newman-Winters-Chancellor-Abbott (Rainn and River Ware...

Victoria Rowell may be best known for her role as Drucilla Winters on The Young & The Restless but that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her many achievements.
Her newest achievement is a role in Summer Camp which is getting a theatrical release on May 31. The film also stars Diane Keaton, Alfre Woodard, Kathy Bates, Eugene Levy and a host of others. During a recent interview with Daytime Confidential, Rowell spoke about the upcoming film as well as a host of other topics.
Would Victoria Rowell join the cast of The Gates
When asked about the possibility of coming to The Gates, Rowell said she would absolutely consider coming on board the show, either in front of or behind the camera. As a talented director and amazing actress, Rowell would fit right in on the new soap which is set to premiere in January...

If Hollywood aims to bring older audiences back to theaters by making movies about them, I submit Summer Camp as a case study in what works (Eugene Levy!) and what definitely does not — painfully flat attempts at wackiness being the chief offender. Veering between strained slapstick and thoughtful tête-à-têtes, this boomer-focused reunion comedy strands a game cast of accomplished septuagenarians in a mostly laugh-free zone of zip lines and predictable beats.
Director Castille Landon’s screenplay offers some well-crafted dialogue, but it never adds up to anything resembling momentum. Landon, whose previous features include the Katherine Heigl starrer Fear of Rain and a couple of entries in the After series of romance movies, does get the setting right in a story that brings together three lifelong friends at the sleepaway camp where they first met. The friends are played by Diane Keaton (who also serves as a producer), Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard.

With the news that CBS is currently in “accelerated development” on a new daytime soap opera geared towards the African American audience, daytime soap icon Victoria Rowell, who portrayed Drucilla Barber Winters on “The Young and the Restless” off and on from 1990-2007, is happy to see change happening both on-screen and behind the scenes when it comes to the future of daytime dramas.
In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, Rowell said, “Change is Possible! Believe it!” while linking to a news story on “The Gates,” a new soap being spearheaded by the first and only Black woman ever to hold the position of head writer/co-head writer of a daytime drama series, Michele Val Jean, and follows a wealthy Black family in a posh, gated community.

Christel Khalil is celebrating her 20th anniversary with The Young and the Restless as Lily Winters, the daughter of iconic supercouple Neil (the late Kristoff St. John) and Dru (Victoria Rowell). TV Insider chatted with the Daytime Emmy-winner about her years in Genoa City – starting with her debut as a teen to her pairing with Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane Ashby), playing mom to teenagers (!), and her current storyline that has Lily paired with Jason Thompson’s Billy Abbott. TV Weekly: Do you have memories of your first day? Christel Khalil: Yes. My first scene was with Victoria Rowell. I remember being nervous and wanting to do a good job. My first few years, it was about introducing the character. I was a kid. I wasn’t quite old enough to be a part of the teen storylines. Monday's new April 29, 2019 episode sounds like it will feature even more sadness, emotion and tears as the show finally wraps up this major, four episode arc, which is paying tribute to the Neil Winters character who was portrayed by late actor Kristoff St. John. Soap operas aren't fond of death.
Beloved characters who die often come back to life even if the actors playing them no longer want to be a part of the show. Recasts are abundant.
But when tragedy strikes as it did when Kristoff St. John passed away on February 2, 2019, The Young and the Restless chose to honor the man by similarly retiring his character.
The story of Neil Winter's passing by a sudden stroke was the focus of much of this week on The Young and the Restless.
Neil was a cherished member of the Genoa City community, and his death rocked everyone on the show.

Now that it's all wrapped up and in the history books, it is that time again to take a sneak peek look at what's about to take place in tomorrow's brand new April 24, 2019 episode. The daytime TV community was shocked in February upon the announcement that actor Kristoff St. John had died at the age of 52. Now Entertainment Weekly has exclusively reported that “The Young and the Restless” will officially say its goodbyes to its longtime cast member in April with the help of some of his former co-stars.
St. John played businessman Neil Winters on “Y&R” from 1991 until his death, which made him the longest running black character in the show’s history. He also had a historic run at the Daytime Emmys. Counting his prior role in the short-lived soap opera “Generations,” he earned 11 nominations, winning twice for “Y&R”: Best Younger Actor in 1992 and Best Supporting Actor in 2008. Most recently he earned a pair of bids for Best Actor (2016-2017), which made him one of the few actors ever to receive nominations at all three levels: younger, supporting and lead.

Lifetime has greenlighted a pair of original movies based on popular novels written nearly two centuries apart. The cable net said today that Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta, a contemporary take on Jane Austen’s early 19th century classic, and an adaptation of Adriana Trigiant’s 2009 book Very Valentine will premiere next year.
Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta features an African-American cast led by Reginald VelJohnson as Reverend Bennet, a pastor of a prominent Southern Baptist church, and his wife, Mrs. Bennet (Jackée Harry), author of a self-help book on how to find the perfect husband. When the very eligible Will Darcy (Juan Antonio) arrives in town, Mrs. Bennet sets her sights on the handsome bachelor for daughter Lizzie,...
