- At the age of ten, Martijn moved from The Netherlands to Ann Arbor, Michigan. He studied film at the University of Michigan where he directed a number of award-winning student films. After graduation he went to Hollywood and directed five music videos for alternative bands including Deke Dickerson, The Sprague Brothers, Randy Fuller (The Bobby Fuller Four), and Fortune and Maltese. Martijn has since made a narrative short, 'The Dandy' which became an official selection of the 2001 New York International Independent Film Festival, 2001 L.A. International Short Film Festival, and has been acclaimed by Daniel Clowes (Eightball, 'Ghostworld'). While enjoying a successful career as a Gaffer, he has since written and directed the animated educational short 'Quest for the Higgs' which has played on international TV and has become a YouTube phenomenon.- IMDb Mini Biography By: veltman@roadrunner.com
