- DirectorPeter JacksonStarsElijah WoodIan McKellenViggo MortensenWhile Frodo and Sam edge closer to Mordor with the help of the shifty Gollum, the divided fellowship makes a stand against Sauron's new ally, Saruman, and his hordes of Isengard. My rate: 6 - Too much time for just one battle.

The story is rather simple but the script twists and bends unsure on where to go first and how to get to the end. Worths watching, nonetheless.
- DirectorDenis VilleneuveStarsAmy AdamsJeremy RennerForest WhitakerA linguist works with the military to communicate with alien lifeforms after twelve mysterious spacecraft appear around the world. My rate: 8 - Many praised the movie because of the unexpected twist in the plot. There is not such a twist, but just a damn good sci-fi story. My rate could have been half a point higher, if the writer had not cheated to easily twist the plot when he needed to.
- DirectorJustin KurzelStarsMichael FassbenderMarion CotillardJeremy IronsCallum Lynch explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha and gains the skills of a Master Assassin, before taking on the secret Templar society. My rate: 3 - Maybe it's me, but I've found this movie disagreeable from the very first scene.

Just to be funny?
- DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsChris EvansRobert Downey Jr.Scarlett JohanssonPolitical involvement in the Avengers' affairs causes a rift between Captain America and Iron Man.My rate: 7 - Cluttered up with superheroes

- DirectorTim MillerStarsRyan ReynoldsMorena BaccarinT.J. MillerA wisecracking mercenary gets experimented on and becomes immortal yet hideously scarred, and sets out to track down the man who ruined his looks. My rate: 8 - The purpose of this film is to give the audience a two hour show, and it does just fine.
- DirectorPaul VerhoevenStarsIsabelle HuppertLaurent LafitteAnne ConsignyA successful businesswoman gets caught up in a game of cat and mouse as she tracks down the unknown man who raped her.My rate: 9 - Visually essential, morally disturbing, morbidly erotic.
- DirectorGary RossStarsMatthew McConaugheyGugu Mbatha-RawMahershala AliA disillusioned Confederate army deserter returns to Mississippi and leads a militia of fellow deserters and women in an uprising against the corrupt local Confederate government. My rate: 6 - The story is a good one, and worths telling. However the movie does not involve nor excites. And that's that.
- DirectorJon FavreauStarsNeel SethiBill MurrayBen KingsleyAfter a threat from the tiger Shere Khan forces him to flee the jungle, a man-cub named Mowgli embarks on a journey of self discovery with the help of panther Bagheera and free-spirited bear Baloo. My rate: 8 - Having animals singing stupid songs is something Disney's productions can't get rid of.
- DirectorRoland EmmerichStarsLiam HemsworthJeff GoldblumBill PullmanTwo decades after the first Independence Day invasion, Earth is faced with a new extra-Solar threat. But will mankind's new space defenses be enough? My rate: 2 - I think that every single human being on Earth could do without this movie.
- DirectorDamien ChazelleStarsRyan GoslingEmma StoneRosemarie DeWittWhile navigating their careers in Los Angeles, a pianist and an actress fall in love while attempting to reconcile their aspirations for the future. My rate: 6 - Not entirely a comedy, not entirely a drama, not entirely a musical. Even the name is not entirely a title. Let's face it, is just a simple romantic story.
- DirectorAlessandro SianiStarsAlessandro SianiDiego AbatantuonoCarla SignorisMartino's sister, Caterina, can't work anymore for health reasons and he replaces her as cleaner for dr. - DirectorMorten TyldumStarsJennifer LawrenceChris PrattMichael SheenA malfunction in a sleeping pod on a spacecraft traveling to a distant colony planet wakes one passenger 90 years early. My rate: 7 - This is a strange movie. It starts with a perfectly acceptable sci-fi story, transits over an interesting moral dilemma, and end up smashed into a trivial romantic crap. Worths a view, though.
