- Tonight, Osmond Box, the reclusive yet wildly successful writer/director known for his completely surprising Broadway plays, is debuting his seventh and most highly anticipated production of his career: The Guilty. Nothing is known about the story, the setting, the premise, or even the actors involved. The first people to discover the truth will be the lucky ones sitting in those seats opening night. - On the outside, Daniel is a lonely teenage day-dreamer, navigating a lousy after-school gig, an unrequited crush, and his secret dreams of being a rock god. But underneath he's still grieving the loss of his parents, who died a few years ago. Daniel lives at home alone, dodging social service agents, and making excuses to concerned teachers. On his 16th birthday, Daniel suddenly discovers he has certain innate talents, and a whole new wave of drama engulfs him. Together with his best friend Maizy, and members of his garage band, Daniel ventures down a dangerous journey of self-discovery, to figure out where his new abilities came from, how to control them, and what larger purpose they serve. Along the way, Daniel will be kidnapped, beaten up, thrown in prison, and betrayed by those he trusts most. He'll discover a shocking secret about his past, and he'll eventually take up the mantle of his parents, forced into battle to protect their legacy, to keep his friends alive, and to save our entire world.
