- Lovey and Dovey have a baby, named, of course, Snookums. Everything Snookums wants, Snookums gets. At his first birthday party, Lovey mistakenly believes Snookums has been kidnapped - and the chase is on.
- George has wished on him by his mother the idea of getting a wife. To make a hit with the selected one he boasts about being a racing driver and when the real driver leaves the girl's father cold, George is forced into the race and after a wild time wins.
- The family go Christmas shopping. Snookums, whether through hereditary influence or not, is a kleptomaniac. He takes unto himself a train of cars without the formality of paying for the same. Father makes two attempts to bring home a Christmas tree. The first is denuded going through the crowd. The second picks up from other shoppers various articles so that when it arrives at the Newlyweds' domicile it is already decorated. Enter the burglar. After him the pursuing policeman. Lest the baby's illusion be destroyed the burglar is made up as a Santa Claus and entertains the baby.
- George appears as a timid professor who has a twin brother who is a prize fighter. A bully picks on the twin thinking he is George and gets a sound beating. Finally George is seized in place of the twin and made to enter the prize ring against a champion fighter. To protect himself he fills his shirt with sponges. During the fight he is knocked into the water bucket, the sponges expand, the water hits the other fighter and blinds him and George knocks him out.
- Snookums fetches a "Quarantine" placard, which he hangs on the door, thus forcing guests to remain at the Newlyweds' home.
- Tony, the beloved of Wanda, starts things off hilariously by providing his mother-in-law to be with the first thrill she has had in thirty years by taking her home in a motorcycle side-car. Narrow escapes galore and finally a wreck. Then the engagement party of her daughter. The villain, a bigamist for whom the police are looking, has ambitions of adding Jane to the collection of wives. He is in a fair way to do so until Tony discovers from a newspaper story that the chap who is wrecking the engagement party, his happiness and his face is the man wanted. He gets him by bringing in a bunch of kids who have been subsidized with a nickel bribe to claim the impostor as their father, Tony, with dress and veil, pretending to be one of the deserted wives.
- Charlie goes to the railroad station to meet his wife. A strange woman asks him to hold her baby for a minute. She is gone a long time. He walks up and down the platform looking for her while she looks for him in vain. He hears her speaking distressfully to a cop. The cop tells her of a kidnapping case and threatens to arrest the man then he finds him with the child. Charlie tries to get rid of the baby, but a kind-hearted stranger sees him mislay it and returns it to him, while a news photographer takes his picture in the act of attempting to get rid of the infant. His wife's train pulls in and he runs to meet her, putting the child on the baggage truck. While he is greeting his wife the photographer comes up and sells him the photograph. They speed home, followed in another car by a woman who finally catches them, returning the baby to Charlie. He is accused by his wife of bigamy and kindred crimes until the mother of the child straightens matters out by claiming her own.
