- En spectacle à la Comédie canadienne, Gilles Vigneault interprète ses chansons et ses monologues les plus célèbres des années 60 : Vent de la mer, Danse à Saint-Dilon, Jos Hébert, Mon pays, Jean du Sud, Tout l'monde est malheureux, John Débardeur, J'ai un pays à construire, Manicoutai, Les Goélettes, Les Gens de mon pays, etc. Dans la deuxième moitié du film, on voit aussi le poète dans son village natal, on rencontre son père et quelques autres personnages de l'endroit. / Gilles Vigneault en concert à la Comédie canadienne et dans une salle de province. Le récital est entrecoupé d'images de Natashquan et des lieux dépeints dans les plus célèbres oeuvres du chansonnier. Ce document-reportage, en plus de témoigner d'une époque glorieuse de la carrière de l'artiste, a aussi la particularité d'être un des premiers récitals filmés en salles au Québec.
