- TriviaWhen Hurley is racing through the airport on the scooter, the backs of a girl's soccer team is shown. Their jersey numbers, in order, are 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42.
- GoofsIn versions aired/distributed in most of the countries, castaways mention they have been on the island for a month, but Sawyer's hair has grown about four to five inches and is now so long that he is pulling it back into a ponytail. In the flashback that shows them boarding the flight in Sydney, his long hair makes him look noticeably different than he did in the pilot episodes.

What a ride
What a great episode. It had everything I usually want with finales a great start, entertaining middle part and a great ending which makes you want to watch the next season. However many questions are still unanswered. And cgi in this show is not that good. I know its an old show but shows back in 2004 had decent cgi. I'm spoiled with great cgi in this day and age. So when you see bad cgi it gets really noticed. That's the only complain I have with this show. Other than that story is great, plot is intriguing. Storytelling early on in the show was a bit slow but picked pace near the end of the season. The mystery about the island keeps getting better and better. Although we don't know much about it. It has been a slow revelation. I can't wait to find out all the answers. I have a long way to go I'm only at season 2 right now. If I wanted to be a critic I would say the season didn't need 25 episodes. They could have wrapped it up in 15 or even 10. But every episode has been interesting enough to keep me hooked. I like all the characters I think I would not have liked them as much if they didn't show their back stories in all these episodes. So I get why it has so many episodes. It's to build the characters and connect with them. So you can laugh and cry with them. I'm a huge fan of Damon Lindelof. I watched Watchmen on HBO which was created by Lindelof and I was really impressed with the show and his writing. This is the reason why I am watching Lost. And I'm impressed here as well with the writing. Even though the show is a bit old but it's still compelling and interesting. Great finale overall 10/10.
