- TriviaAfter reading the script for the first time, Mark Hamill told writer/director Rian Johnson, "I pretty much fundamentally disagree with every choice you've made for this character. Now having said that, I have gotten it off my chest, and my job now is to take what you've created and do my best to realize your vision". He was surprised by the changes that Johnson made to Luke Skywalker. In order to get into the mindset of an old and weary Luke, Hamill wrote a personal backstory for the character.
- GoofsWhen Poe gets permission to leave the bridge and runs towards the X-Wing bay, several pilots on the bridge follow him, including the alien C'ai Threnalli. However, immediately after we see C'ai run out of frame, there is a reaction shot of Finn with C'ai still standing at a console in the background.
- Quotes
Kylo Ren: I'll destroy her. And you. And all of it.
Luke Skywalker: No. Strike me down in anger and I'll always be with you. Just like your father.

Is this is the start of the fall of this great franchise??
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (also known as Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi) is an epic space opera film directed by Rian Johnson. The film's ensemble cast includes Mark Hamill, Late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, and Benicio del Toro.
Rey seeks to learn the ways of the Jedi under Luke Skywalker, its remaining member, to reinvigorate the Resistance's war against the First Order.
Are there any exceptions in masterpieces, yes there are and this film is an exception in the list of Star wars franchise which till now has made almost all the film very impressive and some being masterpieces as somehow this film fails to impress and it seems that the makers are just trying to keep this franchise alive and running but in this process they are killing the charm of one of the greatest franchise. The worst part of the film is that the original greats such as Luke, Leia, Chewbacca are being destroyed in order to bring new characters but the i didn't feel connected with them as there is no proper introduction or the back story of the characters and they are just appearing and vanishing out of nowhere.
This film also has another drawbacks which is it's length, pace and too many subplots running simultaneously. One the one hand the pace is really slow and on the other hand the film is very lengthy with too many subplots running parallel which although will not confuse the viewers but might get the viewers start getting disconnected and irritated.
The acting is decent to good but i am still not been able to get connected with the new characters although they impresses in their respective roles. The BGM of the film is loud but will not irritate and screenplay is average.
I have seen all the films of this magnificent franchise and after watching this film i can say that this might be the start of the fall of one of the greatest franchise until and unless something magnificent comes up and if they goes on like this time is not far when there will be curtains for this great franchise.
