Prime Video is bowing the trailer for season two of its first Spanish-language romcom series “Como Sobrevivir Soltero” (“How to Survive Being Single”), which debuts April 15 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Performing cameos this season are Miss Universe 2014/TV host Paulina Vega, Mexican heartthrob Vadhir Derbez (“De Viaje con los Derbez.” “El Mesero”), Faisy and Edgar Vivar.
Created by brothers Emiliano and Sebastian Zurita, the eight episode second season picks up from where season one ends with Sebastián, playing his fictional self, paying tribute to his late girlfriend Julieta by trying to produce a movie from the script he wrote while they were dating.
He and his producing partner Natalia struggle to secure funding and in the end, decide to adapt the script for the stage. Still grieving, he decides that he can’t start dating again and takes full, wild advantage of his bachelorhood.

Following the grueling production of The Revenant, Alejandro González Iñárritu has stayed relatively quiet in the five-plus years since, just helming the VR film Carne y Arena. It was then revealed as the pandemic was beginning that the Oscar-winning Mexican director had been prepping a shoot in his native country for a new project, though the crisis of course delayed those plans.
Now, he’s returning to shooting as LA Times reports production has begun in Mexico City on his new film, tentatively titled Limbo. (Not to be confused the recent TIFF premiere Limbo and the recent Berlinale premiere Limbo.) While cinematographer Bradford Young was originally attached the project, it looks like scheduling didn’t work out and now Darius Khondji is behind the camera.

Following the back-to-back Oscar winners Birdman and The Revenant–as well as being only the third director in history to receive consecutive Best Director awards–Alejandro González Iñárritu took a bit of a break after the grueling shoot of his Leonardo DiCaprio-led feature. In the five years since he’s helmed the Vr film Carne y Arena, but no new updates on what film he may shoot next. Today now finally brings news of his next feature.
El Universal reports the director has been scouting locations and doing camera tests in Mexico City for a new project, spotted with cinematographer Bradford Young. While no specific details on the title, cast or plot are known yet, they were seen at Chapultepec Castle and in the historic center of Mexico City. Reports indicate the cast was dressed in ’90s outfits and the tests included cardboard cutouts of politicians Carlos Salinas de Gortari and José López Portillo.

The star of the Mexican comedy shows “El Chavo del Ocho” and “El Chapulín Colorado” will get a museum celebrating his life and work in June 2013, reports Notimex -- complete with one of the barrels El Chavo once called home.
The monument to the work of Chespirito, the stage name of comedian Roberto Gómez Bolaños, will be designed as a replica of the Chavo del Ocho’s neighborhood. Visitors will be able to see the shows’ original costumes, view the scripts, and walk through the houses of characters like Don Ramón, Quico and Doña Florinda.
The Chespirito museum will be located in Mexico City, though organizers still haven’t picked an official site. The public will have free access to the museum.
“The project began as something small and, thanks to the public support, kept growing,” Chespirito Group director Luis Jorge Arnau Ávila told Notimex.
