We were so disappointed that Zero Hour wasn’t given more time to gain an audience, but at least were pleased when ABC announced that the entire first season would air this summer, including the first three episodes that aired in the winter.
Happily, ABC has now paired those episodes with unaired episodes from another gone-too-soon show from earlier this season, 666 Park Avenue, according to Deadline. As you know from the SciFiMafia.com Spring and Summer Primetime TV Schedule and the SciFiMafia.com Calendar, Zero Hour premieres Saturday, June 15 at 8/7c. 666 Park Avenue will join Zero Hour on June 22, following it at 9/8c and continuing weekly for three more weeks.
Excellent news, I’m So looking forward to summer Saturdays, these were great shows; thanks to ABC for airing the rest of the episodes.

It always brings me great pleasure to see a interesting and well done horror series on network TV, unfortunately so many of them seem to be cancelled right off the bat and rarely have the opportunity to delve into the story’s core and truly prove themselves to be the remarkable series they have the potential of developing into. For fans of the new ABC series ’666 Park Avenue’ such as myself, bad news has surfaced. ABC has officially cancelled the series along with fellow new series ‘Last Resort’ (from Shawn Ryan, creator of ‘The Shield’)!
It’s always a sad day when a great new series get’s the axe, and i really felt ’666 Park Avenue’ was starting to develop into a truly unique and entertaining series. Unfortunately the cancellation doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering the shows mediocre ratings. It certainly is not the first time...

It's probably not a coincidence that "666 Park Avenue," a new suspense drama premiering Sunday, Sept. 30, on ABC, opens in a glittering New York concert hall where an elegantly dressed audience listens to a classical performance. The orchestra's concertmaster is in the middle of negotiating a tricky violin passage when suddenly the strings of his instrument begin cutting into his fingers, as if dipped in acid. Gritting his teeth in pain and mounting terror, the musician manages to get through the passage as drops of blood fly onto the music pages. In the audience, Gavin Doran (Terry O'Quinn, "Lost") and his beautiful wife, Olivia (Vanessa Williams, "Desperate Housewives"), smile enigmatically.
Suffice it to say that violinist's night quickly goes from bad to the worst imaginable, but that sophisticated opening sets the tone for this series set in the Drake, a stately New York high-rise that seems to have a mind of its own.

Welcome to The Drake, aka 666 Park Avenue, where all of your dreams can come true... for a price. And for ABC, their dream is for viewers to catch on to this new glossy supernatural sudser, which is a very valid wish indeed since the show is extremely worthy for an extended stay on the Alphabet network's schedule.
Loosely based (and we do mean loosely) on the 2008 novel by Gabriella Pierce, ABC's adaptation of 666 Park Avenue centers around a young couple, Henry Martin (Dave Annable) and Jane Van Veen (Rachael Taylor), who have just secured a new job as the building managers of The Drake, an apartment building in the Upper East Side owned by Gavin Doran (Terry O' Quinn) and his wife, Olivia (Vanessa Williams). Henry and Jane feel like they have hit the jackpot with their new job and new apartment, but unbeknownst to the happy couple and some other residents in the building,...

With the success of American Horror Story on cable, it's not surprising that broadcast networks would take another stab (no pun intended) at bringing a new horror story to the masses.
ABC will attempt to do just that on Sunday nights with 666 Park Avenue, a mystery drama based very loosely on the Gabriella Pierce novel of the same name. In the series, an innocent Midwestern couple, Henry (Dave Annable) and Jane (Rachael Taylor), get hired as resident managers of a The Drake, an Upper East Side apartment building in New York owned by Gavin (Terry O'Quinn) and Olivia Doran (Vanessa Williams). Unbeknownst to them, the residents have all made deals with The Devil to have their desires fulfilled.

666 Park Avenue is my personal favorite new show of the season (though I haven’t seen Arrow yet) and I hope you’ll love it too. This poster gives an interesting twist to the campaign – get it? twist? – but should really be seen primarily as a metaphor. Don’t worry, the show won’t require you to take notes and study, it’s just pretty and creepily entertaining. Like the poster!
Presumably we’re getting this new poster because it includes the just-released premiere date, which we told you about earlier. Here’s your friendly reminder-as-to-what-it’s-about trailer and series summary:

There’s a long and rocky history of TV producers trying to successfully adapt Stephen King novels. Could a new series capture the horror master’s sensibility while having nothing to do with his actual work?
ABC’s upcoming horror soap 666 Park Ave. (see the show’s curiously sexy marketing poster here) isn’t drawn from any of King’s material (it’s based on a novel with the same title by Gabriella Pierce), but producers admit the author’s work was a heavy influence on the show. “It’s absolutely Stephen King influenced,” said executive producer David Wilcox told TV critics Friday.

With horror being the hottest trend on TV, ABC brought "666 Park Avenue" to the San Diego Comic-Con, where we had a chance to watch the pilot and panel and then chat with the cast and creators of the show. Color us definitely intrigued by what we've seen so far!
The stars of "666" - Rachael Taylor as Jane Van Veen, Dave Annable as Henry Martin, Vanessa Williams as Olivia Doran, and Terry O’Quinn as Gavin Doran - were at a bit of a disadvantage during our interview since up to this point they've only shot the pilot and haven't even seen the script for the next episode so we didn't get a lot of information about the show from them; but writer/executive producer David Wilcox and executive producer Matthew Miller did shed a bit more light on things.

The Comic-Con 2012 schedule has now been released in full, and barring any major updates, is set. The blessing and curse of being an attendee is deciding which panels/autograph sessions/special events to attend, when they conflict. And they always do.
For you to see for yourself, below are what we are calling the “headliner” panels; those panels that are taking place in Hall H, Ballroom 20, Room 6Bdf, and the just-next-door Hilton Indigo Ballroom, the four major venues for panels. There are descriptions of each panel as well as the show(s) and/or movie(s) they are there to discuss.
See how many conflicts you might have, or how you might arrange time and space to somehow attend these plus spend every day in the vendors’ Exhibit Hall and chasing zombies in the nearby The Walking Dead Escape. By the way, if you figure that out, Please let us know.

Horror on TV has never been hotter, and everyone is scrambling to find the next big scary thing. Writer David Wilcox, who's worked on "Law & Order," ABC's "Life on Mars," and Fox's "Fringe," recently talked about how latest project, "666 Park Avenue", relates to the book and lots more.
According to Variety, when Wilcox met with Alloy Entertainment execs about adapting the book series 666 Park Avenue into a primetime series for ABC, he was encouraged to use the tomes as a jumping off point, not a blueprint. "They were very comfortable in departing from the book. I read the book and there are some interesting ideas in there, but I was encouraged to tell a very different story," Wilcox says of the series, which landed on ABC's fall schedule in the 10:00 Pm Sunday timeslot.
He retained the title and some character names but not much else. "The book is about witches on Park Avenue,...

Terry O'Quinn as Gavin Doran in "666 Park Avenue" (ABC/Andrew Eccles)
ABC‘s slate of new shows for fall has a strange flavor to it, and it’s going to be a bumpy ride. The network has about as many new shows as returning ones (if you count all the midseasons), and a good percentage of the returning offerings are a year old or less, making this look a bit like a rebuilding year.
Not only is it a rebuilding year, but it’s the year of bringing back every actor and actress who ever had a decent run on a show before. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a network’s new season slate that was so crammed with people returning from something else. If you can’t make it good, I suppose, make sure viewers recognize the faces.
It’s tricky to get a solid feel...

Yesterday was ABC‘s turn for upfront presentations, which meant that yesterday morning the network released its fall schedule and more detailed information about its new 2012-2013 series. We’ve been watching the development of 666 Park Avenue starring Terry O’Quinn for some time now, and had been keeping an eye on the alien comedy The Neighbors, but we got a wonderful surprise today when we saw the full description of midseason (meaning 2013) series Zero Hour starring Anthony Edwards.
We had been told that he played a skeptic whose wife gets abducted, but happily, as we found today, he is a “confessed paranormal junkie” and that he will be running ”a breathless race against the clock to find his wife and save humanity.” Ooo, save humanity! It’s also said to be a DaVinci Code-type hunt with ancient clues. What sealed it for me was the trailer, which we have for you.

On "One Tree Hill," Robert Buckley's character Clay is currently dealing with a six-year-old son who he forgot that he had after a mental trauma caused him to block the kid out for six years. It's weird even by Tree Hill standards, but Buckley is in for some even crazier adventures next season if his new show gets picked up.

A former Charlie’s Angels and Grey’s Anatomy doctor has been cast in ABC’s upcoming supernatural pilot 666 Park Avenue. Rachael Taylor, the blonde bombshell from the short lived Angels, will be one half of a young couple that accepts the offer to manage one of New York City’s historic apartment buildings. I can’t understand why anyone would agree to live in a building with 666 as the address. Aren’t any of these folk superstitious? If I see a place with those numbers on the door, I turn and run the other way.
THR broke the story of Taylor’s casting as Jane opposite David Annable, playing Henry. The two of them will attempt to deal with the various supernatural events that plague the building and its tenants, causing them fear and putting them in near constant danger. Also in the cast is Terry O’Quinn as the haunted building’s owner.
