Look out, Los Angeles, Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) is back!
Ivy returns to The Bold and the Beautiful this week after being away for six years.
Some long-time viewers will remember her, and others may need a refresher since it’s been a while since she was on-screen.
Ivy debuted on Bold in 2014 and left the canvas in 2018 after four years on the CBS soap.
When it was announced that she was returning, there was speculation about what would bring her back to town. One theory was that she would be the new woman in Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) life, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
As we wait to find out what Ivy has up her sleeve, here’s a little crash course on who she is and what happened while she was in Los Angeles.

Soap alum Jacob Young is set to star in and co-direct “Murder Between Friends,” an independent film about a legendary TV star who tries to solve a murder that occurred at her countryside estate. Joan Collins leads the cast, which also includes “Days of our Lives” alum Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe Lane).
“It’s very Agatha Christie, sort of ‘Knives Out’ without having a hundred million dollars to shoot it, but still will be a lovely film nonetheless,” Young told Michael Fairman TV last month while out promoting another film he recently starred in called “Four For Fun.” Jason Cook directed that film, which also stars Brytni Sarpi.
Other actors set to appear in “Murder Between Friends” include British soap star Toby-Alexander Smith, Jim Borstelmann, Espen Hatleskog and Czech actress Hana Vagnerová. “All My Children” alum Trent Garrett (ex-Asher Pike) is reportedly set to co-direct alongside Young, with the film based...

Will He Bring Lucky Back To General Hospital?
Greg Vaughan is most known for his portrayal of the beloved character Eric Brady on Days Of Our Lives. But that wasn’t his first soap role. The heartthrob got his daytime start as Diego Guittierez on The Young & The Restless. However, the role on the CBS soap was short-lived.

Unlike the readers of the original comic by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead TV series fans are going into season 11 already knowing that this is the end of the road for many of their favorite characters. As the Commonwealth opens its gates to our heroes, the show also reaches the final section of its source material, whose 16-year run came to a shocking, unexpected end with issue #193 in 2019.
While things on the show won’t play out exactly like in the comics, AMC has still cast many of the characters who played a pivotal role in that final Commonwealth arc, including Michael James Shaw (Avengers: Endgame) as military commander Mercer and Laila Robins (The Blacklist) as Governor Pamela Milton, the leader of the massive post-apocalyptic settlement. And like in the comics, she won’t be the only Milton in charge on the show.

Who were the best LGBTQ couples in daytime soap opera history? The sad truth is that there aren’t that many to choose from. Despite the shows dipping their toes in the water with queer characters and storylines in the 1990s — like Ryan Phillippe as groundbreaking gay teen Billy Douglas on “One Life to Live” from 1992 to 1993 — the show shied away from romance for its queer characters until the 21st century. Hey "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. According to the folks over at soapcentral.com , another one of the "Bold And The Beautiful" stars is really, really close to not being on the show at all anymore. This is definitely not going to come as a surprise since this person is barely in the current storyline. The person we're talking about is Rick Forrester portrayer Jacob Young. Apparently, he's no longer on contract with the show. He hasn't officially quit yet, but he's definitely looking to pursue other gigs and opportunities. Jacob recently hit up his official Twitter account back on April 19, 2018 to address this very issue. Apparently, there had been some rumors flying around that he was off contract with The Bold and The Beautiful. He confirmed that the rumors were true by writing: "#Rt I want to take a moment to address the rumors that I'm currently off contract.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” star Jacob Young has moved from contract status at the CBS soap to a recurring role.
“I had been talking with my management and my team about this for awhile, and it’s almost as if I kind of manifested it maybe because it felt like it was running its course,” Young tells Variety exclusively about his role as Rick Forrester.
Young shares that the character is “incredibly important” to him, as well as the show, so while he is no longer with the show full time, he is glad to be able to still pop up “here and there.”
“I’m very grateful for Brad Bell and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ — for their vision and having faith in me as an actor and in giving me all of the story that they have over the years,” Young says.

The 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented on Sunday, April 29, but the winners in the drama acting categories have already been decided by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. In the race for Best Younger Actor, Rome Flynn has earned his first career Emmy nomination for his role as Zende Forrester on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Flynn joined the soap in 2015, and left the show in late 2017. Will Flynn’s submission help him win on his first try?
In the submission, Zende listens as his wife Nicole (Best Younger Actress nominee Reign Edwards) debates whether or not to sign the papers that will allow her sister Maya (Karla Mosley) and her husband Rick (Jacob Young) to adopt the baby that Nicole carried for them as a surrogate. Nicole has recently learned that she may not be able to have another child, so she wonders whether...

The 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out on April 29, but the winners in the soap opera acting categories have already been decided by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. That includes the race for Best Younger Actress where Reign Edwards is nominated for the third year in a row for her role as Nicole Avant on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful.” But she has yet to win. Will she prevail for the first time for scenes in which she struggles with the choice of whether to give up her child?
The reel opens with Nicole in a consultation with her doctor, who has diagnosed her with secondary infertility. She may not be able to conceive another child. But she has already given birth to one child, Lizzy, whom Nicole carried as a surrogate for her transgender sister Maya (Karla Mosley). If Nicole will never be able to give birth again,...

Kate Mansi won the Daytime Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in 2017 for playing Abigail Deveraux in “Days of Our Lives,” but that was after she had already left the show in 2016. The role was taken over later that year by Marci Miller, who is now pre-nominated for the first time for Best Actress. Can she pick up where Mansi left off?
It’s not uncommon for multiple actors to win Emmys for the same role.
