The White Lotus (2021–2025)

Seriously overrated series.

This is seriously overrated. Imdb score is 7.9. I gave 5 to reduce it, but realistic is 6. I watched first four episodes and nothing happens. Four hours spent on nothing. Literally nothing. You watch several parallel lives. And? This has been a plot at hundreds of series and movies and it was done much, much better. The whole first season could be put into 2 episodes maximally. This is huge wasting of time but still school for me to better select what I watch next time.

Just skip those series and pick something else. Read a book or have a walk. Do not watch this.

I will not proceed to season 2.

House of the Dragon (2022– )

Reminds on Bridgertone series

Dramatic "jump" from 2nd to 3rd episode (several years?!), buffet table style for the King and his personnel (!?) 170 years before the time of Game of Thrones?!

First two episodes are extremely slow. Communication between actors always very official, totally different style comparing to GoT.

Very predictable plot. No adrenaline.

I am watching this extension, only because I previously watched Game of Thrones. Otherwise, I would give up this series after the first or second episode. It reminds more on "Bridgerton".

If you want to live on the GoT's fame - you will not be able to do it forever.

Dune (2021)

Overrated.

Current score on IMDB is 8.0. I feel this is totally overrated. Characters and stories coming out of nowhere, it is very predictable, and it is very slow movie. I also feel it could all be put in 30 minutes... So little action in 2:30h. Realistic score should be between 6 and 7, certainly not 8. Watching the movie you are non stop on the edge, expecting something, but nothing happens except already predicted things. Even if you don't have much experience in watching the movies, you can see what will happen. They tried to make something like Game of Thrones, but with no success. I don't recommend watching it.

Fatale (II) (2020)

Unrealistic

It is unacceptable that in 2022 you don't turn on the lights in apartment when somebody breaks in (and you hear it), that you don't use voice recording or just simply call the police when somebody tries to ruin your life. 2022 movies have to be more realistic, as it is exactly what will sell them and what will attract the audience.

Movie is ok. But it's more marketing than a movie itself, really. I am giving it 7 because it is realistic rating. It's far from 10, far from 9, for some subjective people can be 8 but I think realistically 7. Nothing special.

At first, don't look at the most recent reviews. They are just not relevant. When I saw people giving 8-9 and 2-3 I knew I should give it a chance and watch the movie. It's worth it. Every movie teaches you a new lesson and this one will do, as well. I am giving it a 9 as 6.6 is not realistic score. Otherwise would give it 8.

What I will remember about this movie: dirtiness, worms, blood. Kind of "sick" movie. The message can be got in one minute: even if you are human, you are starting to think about basic insticts when life makes you do it. But in general it can be said through many different ways and not showing in the movie people who eat worms getting out from human body. I just dont like that kind of movies and gving for that 1.

IO (2019)

One of the reasons to watch this movie were terrible reviews posted here. Kids, or people with no emotional IQ, if you want to watch actions or real Sci Fi - check Inception or Matrix. This more like drama, more about love and meaning of life. I would recommend the movie and giving it 8.
